Is the class tuning the comeback of the SV Hunter? (PVE)

Hey folks,

as the title says i would like to know if the upcoming class tuning on 10th january will shuffle the hunter specs in terms of viability for PVE content.

Hunter

Survival
    All ability damage and pet damage increased by 2%.
    Butchery and Carve damage increased by 10%.
    Fury of the Eagle damage increased by 10%.
    Wildfire Bomb damage increased by 15%.

I know its hard to make a prediction, but do you think it’s possible to compete with MM hunter which is currently the best spec (yet the least fun for me) in PVE?

I really enjoyed SV hunter with 4set in shadowlands and i know that the spec isn’t the same anymore, but i like melee or more fast paced specs more than the infinite time of waiting until my aimed shot is casted. I’m almost rerolling to my rogue already.

I’ll wait for the sims and logs, but a little theorycrafting would be nice.

A pretty nice lil AoE buff for sure but the only reason Survival was so played in 9.2 was because it made an already pretty powerful ability (bombs) flat out broken with the tier set. It def had to be nerfed afterward but the drop in power with DF was a bit rough, hopefully this’ll help make bombs feel a bit punchier again

Who didn’t, 3 buttons and insane DPS
I hope it won’t come back to these strengths though, it already reigned way to long in SL…
