I’m working towards my 400 mount meta achievement but ever since 8.2.5 hit, it has stopped counting new mounts I’m getting. I recently got 2 mounts and none of them counted towards the achievement meanwhile my addon is counting them. Does anyone else have the same problem?
Maybe they finally removed the class hall mounts from the class you’re not playing from counting towards the achievement.
for me, that happened with 200 mount count i reached a couple of weeks ago. I was at 199. Bought one mount from AH, still 199. Bought another mount from AH and finally reached 200. Gave me a mount for the 200 achievement reward, which put the total number at 201.
A couple of days later, without getting a new mount, my mount count was at 202. Apparently for some reason, it took some time for the game to realize the count correctly.
Open achievement panel
Go to stats
Check under gear tab and it will tell you how many mounts you own
Little tip for you if you log a paladin or warlock over level 60 it should tick it over for you .
I experienced exactly the same issue after 8.2.5. I had 373 mounts before the patch.
Bought 2 WOD timewalking mounts: no change, stayed at 373.
Bought Albatross mount from dubloon vendor, stayed at 373.
Lifebinder from DS dropped. Progress bar changed to 374.
I submitted 2 tickets but GM’s recommended that it looks ok for me. Interesting enough they can’t tell me why it was 373 before and the bar didn’t progress until I acquire 4 mounts.
I think a mount collector with over 300 mounts would know that. I always check with my ally paladin which has the most class and faction specific mounts. And the bar didn’t progress until I acquired 4 mounts. And interesting enough my last mount was acquired by my horde sp and the bar progresses without me requiring to login with my ally pally.
