Ashenvale boosts the rep grind by a lot compared to spamming WSG for months but still doesn’t feel fast enough and the battle is not engaging anyway. It’s just zerg and 5 mins later it’s over.
Where are the things to do in the zone?
And ontop of all that the rewards are useless, I only today found out the rewards and as hunter the only upgrade it gives me is a off-hand dagger… All my pre-bis gear is better and don’t even do BFD
PVE and PVP content isn’t balanced at all in SOD
I could get a mount for ashenvale for 10g, which i wont and i got a reall nice trinket. PvP and pve content were never really on par though until burning crusade. I agree on that maybe pvp should award similar rewards as dungeoneering.
Asking out of curiousity - why do you feel the urge of speeding up the rep grind if you don’t need anything from there then? The neck is quite good even for a hunter (since necks are hard to come by at 25), the ring is kinda decent and as mentioned the dagger is a good stat stick if you don’t want to wield a 2H.
I do agree with you that the battles in Ashenvale aren’t very engaging though, since people always will try to find the quickest way of finishing something.
It never WAS balanced and never WILL be balanced. This is Classic+.

This isn’t about what was it’s SOD all the stuff we get that I am referring to is NEW. They added all this stuff to have an engaging seasonal experience even for level 25, and some stuff just doesn’t seem engaging enough for the rewards and time it takes.
All they did was add a lower level version of the higher level WSG gear and scaled it to level 25, you end up with just average items that in the end seeing how much this rep grind requires and how long the phase 1 will prolly last is far from worth it.
It’s Season of DISCOVERY so as Blizz said themselves, this is just feedback on what imo doesn’t really work and flow well with the idea of SOD.
Same as raid imo, up to date with the current tier.
They promised to balance in classic++ in 20 years, I saw their schedule everything will be done in 2044 don’t spread wrong information
Then it would need some kind of timegating, like raiding does. Not saying I disagree, just making sure it’s not 100% people doing PvP cause it’s BiS.
lone wolf alliance wpvp on ashenvale is dead and we dont even get enough raid for the event.
on a pvp server why is that a bad thing? you have people now doing 100% pve on a pvp server cause its BIS. I dont even understand why theres pvp servers and normal ones if people join on PVP servers just to PVE 24/7 cause its bis. Retail mentality ruining yet another version of classic once again.
I’m 1/7th of the way to Exalted purely through premades, and this is the first time I’ve ever Discovered that WSG has such unbeatable strats!
