With Blizzard it’s always 1 step forward - 2 steps backwards. I really hoped that DF is a move into right direction and then they introduced Hero talents. As always with them they made something shared for 2 specs and as always because of it specs that shouldn’t get something extra. It was always like this with shared soulbinds, conduits, azerite powers, covenant spells and whatever else you can think off.

Echo won not because BM is easy to counter. They won because they are the most talented players to ever touch this game. None of their comps were in fact Jungle or FMPala counter. They are just that good. They can play RMP any season and still be the top of the ladder. They lost to ILTU only because they didn’t prepare for it and once they did they 4:0 them. The difference between them and other teams is insane. Not only in individual skill and mechanics but also in amount of practice they put in. The only team that could really threathen them was when Loony, Maro, Blizo and Zeepeye played together. Then when Loony was banned it looked like they can do it too with Asgarath but once they replaced Blizo with Merce and Maro quit for Uni they never lost the finals. Even Whaazz once said that if Zeepeye team practiced as much they might beat them but I get it. People have lives and prize pools are so low that it’s hard to be dedicated to play and practice. Also most of the competitors are close or past 30 y.o. There is almost no fresh blood on the scene.
