Why our flying mounts with wings can’t glide? We should be able to use mounts with wings to glide down from high places not just fall to our death…

Get on top of this common!

Do you all think you would be ok with Blizzard adding gliding to flying mounts? As a result, your gliders will become less used /sad but you will be able to use your mounts :slight_smile:

What do you all think?

Our mounts would share the ability of DHs and I guess they’d prefer to be unique.

There were flying mounts in the game long before DH. Modify DH so we can have gliding added to our flying mounts…if you want it make it unique.

In all that time we’ve had flying we’ve never had the ability to glide on any of those mounts.

We do however have the ability to use gliders made by engineers. They’d also be obsolete if we could just use mounts to do it instead.

I don’t think our flying mounts are obsolete, after all, they fly!!!

Gliders can’t fly, DHs can’t fly.

I can see the logic in wanting flappy mounts to be able to glide, I just can’t see Blizz doing it.

It’s something that occurred to me too, a while ago actually.
It would be nice.
I also suggested once to give the flying mounts the ability to ‘dive’/soar while flying, so something similar to what the griffon in GW2 has. The mount folds wings and dives down at full speed.

I still dream of an expansion where our mounts will get some extra tweaks and stuff to make them feel more alive ^^

It seems to me the only possible solution here is to allow us to capture demon hunters and mount them.

I would gladly ride Illidan, I’m sure he’d make an excellent gliding mount.

There’s nothing unique about DHs. They’re just Warlocks going through a grunge phase.

Zandalar pterodactyl (rep one) has a gliding animation if you are jumping with it down the stairs.
It even has a gliding “trajectory” similar to mage’s slow fall where you glide at an angle above the stairs for a few seconds before touching down, but when it lands it still takes your health away.

Demon Hunters would start to cry if you let everybody glide…
