Is there a way to auto-loot as a healer that doesn’t require you wasting time looting a corpse at all. I have found it difficult as a healer to both heal the party members and actually earn some loot at the same time as I usually have to leave it all behind and follow the party. Thanks in advance

Bind it to a key or macro it together with some often used skill. Win.

If you ignore all loot, and don’t touch the corpses, shouldn’t the loot be mailed to you by the Postmaster?

@Keento I never paid attention before…Maybe I HAVE gotten loot from the Postmaster now that I think of it but I never thought that not looting a corpse equalled it all being sent to me by post! Thanks for that info!

You only get the items sent to you though, not the gold, nor Timewarped Badges in Timewalking Dungeons.
As long as you don’t dawdle over it, you should just take the time to loot. If the party doesn’t appreciate their healer enough to allow them their fair share of the spoils, they can deal with the consequences.

It’s a stupid question but since you’re new…
You have enabled auto loot in the menu?
Esc > options > controls > auto loot
You still need to click a loot pile but it all goes to your bags immediately then rather than you having to click all the stuff?

Definitely onboard with this.
Parties should give ample time to let everyone loot the corpses in normal/heroic dungeons. There’s absolutely no need to rush to the end or run out of range from your healer.
Those 2 extra minutes spent looting aren’t going to make a difference.
And if you’re that strapped on time, you shouldn’t be running group content in the first place.

One thing that helps is actually an addon called ”Faster Loot”, which removes the delay when opening the loot window when auto-looting.
Can’t post links on the forums but search for the addon on your favorite addon website or the Curse app.
This is next level of laziness.
Turn on auto-loot in game options, it’ll allow you to click one corpse to loot everything from nearby dead mobs and remove the need to click every item in loot window to get it your back. Takes 2 seconds to loot like that. No addon needed, not even huge skill to do that.
I don’t really get the accusation of laziness, I’ve had groups as a healer where I struggled to loot because of the tank zooming off non stop. I was happy with the introduction of autoloot partly because of that, I think Dejarous concluded correctly that this player may be new and was unaware of this feature.
Even with it, I’ve had groups running at such speed that I decided to not loot en just keep feather running as fast as my lil priest legs could lol.
