Is there a way to gear a fresh 60 that doesn’t include getting one-shot for two months straight?

Get one shot for a few days. Just pick the quests at the pvp vendors in Oribos and get going.

You can grind honor in bgs by playing with a lower level friend.
Didnt know that, might try that.
I just pvped from 51-59 until i got cap, took fates and at 60 bought and upgraded pvp gear. Ive been abck maybe 2 months and I have 3 characters and my druid is my worst geared thus far.
I wish I could soloqueue to 50-59 bgs.
The one I am trying to gear is in the biggest server, and none of my friends, guildies or anyone in the tradechat wants to queue for bgs with me.
Blizzard made pvp so crap and uninteresting noone queues for it anymore even in horde side it seems lol.
What is so pitiful is that even when you get all your 7/7 pvp sets and a few conquest, you will still get two shot and be unable to beat these specs when they have their gear:
Destruction warlock.
Fury warrior.
Feral druids (the worst one, immortal and will kill you in two fera bites).
Sepsis rogues, youll die in one Sepsis but atleast its slower than vs feral druids.
Arcane mages. Once youre polymorphed and already wasted your trinket, their long cast pvp arcane orb will oneshot you if it crits and you have no shield up. Even when you have versa.
“But these are just few of all the specs that is in the game” … yeah. Half of the bg teams are rogues with sepsis, good luck with that.
And the pvp balance patchnotes are out btw. They could have:
Disabled covenant abilities in pvp combat. It have too much of an impact. Why choose venthyr as a rogue, you will lose your covenant bubble and sepsis. Why do Blizzard keep adding borrowed power and why is it now enabled in pvp? Sigh. Add new bgs or new weather effects to bgs instead, I dont care about this feature.
Disabled tier sets in pvp.
Nerfed holy priests.
Nerfed sepsis.
Cause destro instant chaos bolt to deal 50% of its damage over 6 seconds.
But there you go, read them. Have fun. Id rather #supportthecurrentthing IRL.
Also it takes ages to gear up. I won every * epic bg and it still took days to get some 7/7. So be prepared to get oneshot for many hours, even with +40% honor gained. Youll need like 6 epic bg wins to get a pvp item upgrade to 7/7.
It isnt fair. Why do pvpers need to waste so much time getting base pvp sets while pvers gets the same ilvl in one hour in ZM? Why Blizzard?
And you know how long an epic bg can get… Now imagine every single * piece of gear needing an upgrade. It is not worth trying to waste time pvping on this game.
Once it was. Once upon a time, you could C_R_A_F_T your pvp gear. And the hp you gained protected you from getting globalled. Imagine crafting your gear now and having 120k life and 50% versa. Pvp would be much more fun, after healing gets nerfed.
This game sucks man. In low level bgs, only 3 specs ruined the gameplay. Disc priest because of two schools (shadow mend should be nerfed in low level pvp), surv and MM hunters. That is 3 specs.
In level 60, destro warlocks, fury warriors, feral druids, assa, outlaw, sub all with sepsis and holy priest is going to ruin the day for you. That is 7 specs.
So lets think about it. Low level pvp has 3 op specs. Level 60, 7 op specs. Maybe even more, I heard surv hunters are OP and I heard someone quit this game in rage because he died in one Rapid Fire from a MM hunter, but I havent met one in bgs yet.
