I want to only do the important ones first which unlocks important things .
At the moment i have something in green called guardians of the dream campaign 0/7 chapters and then something in grey called dragonflight 0/9 chapters
The quests that have a border around them are the campaign quests, those usually are the one that unlock stuff.
In Dragonflight we have 3 campaigns, each one for the different patches we have had. Dragonflight is the 1st one, get halfway through it (pretty much do all the zone campaigns) and you will unlock world quests. ZC is the second campaign, you can skip it if you want to, although the transmog set you get from completing the quests is nice and at the end you get a new a new dragonriding mount. Guardians of the Dream is the last one, again some transmog and a mount for doing it. Oh and a new HuD âcityâ but itâs fairly empty.
ZC is zone campaign or something else ?
Zaralek Cavern, itâs the name of the zone. I forgot what the campaign was called.
If I remember correctly you start it by accepting a quest atop the seat of the aspects in Valdrakken from a evoker. It was something like Kurazidaia, then do the story quests in Forbidden reach and you should be able to unlock ZC.
Aah okay .i will get to it. Hopefully i dont miss anything important
Depends what you consider important. DF barely locks features behind story quests (thrust me we had this problem before XD).
This is the key! It is possible to just ignore the most of the campaign and still get access to the Emerald Dream, raid and M+, gust by doing Guardians of the dream.
But there are a bunch of open world stuff (collectables, zones, achievements what have you) that some folks would consider important and which do require progressing the entire campaign.
actually i was trying to get to emerald dream to get the dragonflight glyphs as those are the only ones that are left i have collected others . i am currently lvl 67 on my highest levelled toon . can it be done on 67 or i need to be 70 ? i seem to have done last quest " raise the alarm of emrald dream but after that i dont see any further indication as what to do
Itâs a level 70 zone so I imagine you have to be 70 to unlock it.
Sadly the UI tries to force you doing the newest story content, if you follow his advice you basically will play the story backwards.
Thank for me I usually check the lore to remember the actual rotue when I visit retail but for someone that does that only in game will have a weird experience.
At lvl70 you get the quest for ED automatically.
Doing the quest opens the portal to ED in the Ancient Bough.
Donât know if the Valdrakenâs portal to ED opens automatically or after the quest.
If you go to ED before that you arrive in the âawakeâ version.
aah okay .just gotta level it to 70 then
