Now that Draenor (and Kazzak) are down, I’m wondering if there is a fix for the realm list not loading. I have made peace with the fact that apparently resolving the issues regarding the launch of a new expantion is something outside of Blizzards capability (or interests). But that being said, I would LOVE to switch over to another realm to play one of my other characters, which, at this point, I am also unable to do…

That is a very good question, that would be awesome 
I tried to edit the config.wtf - SET realmName “Draenor” - but changing this does not seam to work… Maybe someone knows a way to “force” change the realm, from windows?

add
SET disableAutoRealmSelect “1”
in config.wtf it will show you the server list and you can just select another server

make sure you close the game before doing it
i did it also deletes that line from the wtf file too after i restart it
Yeah, same for me… it doesn’t work and when I open config again the line has been deleted
Make the file read only. This may cause other issues though.
Guys, i may have a fix!
After many attempts whithout success i tried the following:
Put SET disableAutoRealmSelect “1” in the second line of the document, yes, the second line, not in the end. For me it worked !!!
PS: if the document changes the quotes from “” to ❟❟ just change them back to “”.
