You know when you mouse over any in-game object, that object turns brighter as if it loses the scene’s lighting, or as if some unseen light shines on it so you see it easier? Not the outline effect, but the lighting/shading itself.
Is there a way to disable that, or perhaps an addon to do it? It’s really a tiny thing, but it would help my 'mersion a lot if characters didn’t change color and lighting just by me mousing over them when I have other indicators to let me know what I’m mousing over.
due to the ancient engine limitations, it is impossible to give a unique look to quest items or persons of interest, thus the highlight.
You can see how other games did it, but they are all running on a modern engine, the engine wow uses is a decade old
I don’t mean a unique look, I just mean that objects get brighter only when you mouse over them. I just want to disable that slight brightening effect.
