I was wondering a few things.
Is there an addon to see TRP3 across realms? Like, the other RP-clusters.
Is there a way to remove the realm names. I’m trying to make an alt on the other RP realms and when people emote I can’t help but read the realm name as well.
Any X-realm tips appreciated.
As far as I remember addons like TRP3 only work within the server and faction you’re on within a certain radius (might be zone wide? I forget), however if you play horde and log an alliance character it will capture nearby profiles, which you will then see on your horde char; but these don’t update to my knowledge unless you are on an alliance char again.
It might work similarly cross realm, though you’d have to log a char on the faction/server you want to see profiles of.
Someone in the roleplaying or UI forums might have a better idea if the functionality you’re looking for exists.
There’s a tickbox in TRP 3 to remove realm names, it’s in TRP3’s settings:
‘Settings’ > ‘Chat Settings’ > ‘Remove Realm from player names’
As for profiles, afaik they only get shared if you have a group, guild, chat channel or community in common, or you’re BNet friends. But the addon Cross RP makes it work across faction and realm.
So for example as horde, I can -sometimes- see alliance player’s profiles with CrossRP installed.

As pointed out, CrossRP can fetch TRPs from other realms, in addition to just being a useful tool that can load profiles from the opposing faction!
OK. I found one called " Hide Realm Names" which… Hides the realm names on friendly players in the open world.
So instead of -
