Is there a way into Zaralek Cavern that isn’t careening down a tunnel like a pinball?
I’ve just reached Loam and found the Flight Master but he seems to have a rather parochial approach to transportation. Currently he won’t take me anywhere but I haven’t unlocked other Flight Masters in the Cavern yet. I was kind of hoping he’d fly out to somewhere like Valdrakken or something.
there isnt because yotubers had to whine for multiple years about non existing problem of flying in wow being not engaging enough .
so you are stuc kwith this abomination in DF that is nothing but pure annoyence.
thankfull next weekm+ opens so majority of people will ignore cave completly .
When you have the flightpath UI open, click the minimap to the bottom right to toggle between above/below ground. The flightmasters are connected.
Wyrmhole is the king though.

That will make it much better. I was foolishly Right-Clicking on the main map like you had to in SL to fly between the different zones. How did you figure this out?
Well, the other minimap was shiny so I had to try clicking it 
Also, I guess one of the voices inside me reacted to the fact that although I knew only one FP underground, it didn’t give me an error message about not knowing any connected FPs.
I can fly in and out with the flightmaster to Valdrakken or anywhere else in the Isles
Set your hearthstone there.
To get back to Valdrakken use your Dalaran hearthstone > Stormwind/Orgrimmar Portal > Valdrakken Portal. Why we don’t just have a portal, idk.

Click on flghtmaster, then click on the flashing area bottom right of map, if you are on Dragon Isles it will show you cavern flightpoints and vice versa.
Go Vulpera and set up your camp there. Or bind your hearthstone on a non-Vulpera also is a fast way to get there. Use your Dalaran hearthstone and take the Orgrimmar/Stormwind portal into the portal room and portal straight to Valdrakken alternatively to get back?
Glad I wasn’t the only one befuddled by this.
Not sure why they didn’t just have it work the same as in SL where you Right-Click the Flight Map to zoom out and then pick a Flight Master in another zone. This wasn’t that intuitive.

You can fly down there from Valdrakken on a flightpath via the flightmaster.
