Think about it. We always got melee dps as a new one.
Wotlk - Death Knight
MOP - Monk
Legion - DH
I recommend Necromancer playable cloth class with 2 dps talent, and one heal talent as shadow heal.
As the story being exhausted, all the time I see the casters specs are gone. My personal favourite is Affli Lock, in this expansion, that class is awesome. But unfortunately all the time melee dps rule the dps tables. They are easy. Its time to end this
Imagine that the Necrolord covenant will become enpowered and slaughter the other covenants. Draka and the Necrolord leaders become the part of Azeroth, and sharing the knowledge with the people.
It would be awesome.
Timewalker maybe, a class that will have abbilities to slow down, stop/make time go faster. It would be a cool new class. Imagine having ability to rewrite your death in pvp but with some heavy drawback.
Almost certain the next class they add to the game will be a mail user if the do so; since that armour class is the most underused at the moment out of the four.
Not that long ago, many speculated a tinker class would be added to the game since being a mail user would sort of fit them and coincided with the release of mechagnomes at the time.
That said, necromancer seems to be another community favourite that pops up quite often too. With the main theme of this expansion being death itās still not a foregone conclusion if they want to weave it in somehow.
But, bear in mind there is a resistance to introducing additional classes and specs to the game. Simply because from a game mechanics POV it adds to the upkeep in terms of balancing them concurrently with those existing at present.
Iām nitpicking here but still, why are you posting this in the story section of the forums?
As per the question at hand, you donāt need a āloreā excuse for a new cloth caster class to be added in the game, we already have plenty of unplayable ones in the lore and their addition would be welcome.
Also you donāt need the necrolords to justify necromancers they have pretty much been in the lore since the beggining.
