For the mounts. From what we can see there’s exactly 1 mount which you can buy from the vendor, the others drop. Is there anyone with some experience that knows the drop rates. We’ve been doing like 30 now and no mount no pet, just a few coins. Not that I except a mount now, but I cannot find drop rates on rares. Been grinding all rares in it.
There are 2 mounts u can buy tho. One for 500 dubloons and one for 1000
The mounts drop from specific islands, and the drop rate for this specific island isn’t known iirc although it is higher in mythic than heroic and higher in heroic than normal
Dunno about the PvP drop rates though, I’d say about the same as mythic though.
Edit : about pets i guess you’re just unlucky, last time i did the 4 Heroic island weekly quest i got 3 pets and 1 transmog
You can see everything that drops on sites like wowhead
As for drop rates. Very blooming rare. I have a friend who has farmed most of the last patch and finally got them all. When I say farm I mean lived in there all day every day.
Oops my bad, I did not consider the 500 one a mount because it’s a water mount?? And uses an old model.
Though I read this post of someone doing 2500 IE and they got no mount!?
Island expeditions are absoltuely disgsuting been doing them for weekly since BfA released, and I only got 2 mounts out of 11 or smth so far :)))))
How many did you run? My friend really wants the pandaren looking mount that’s why I made the thread. However she does not want to run 1000 expeditions.

so yeah, drop rates are fairly disgusting and most likely mounts will be lost if blizzard wont change something.
maybe make them purchasable or something idk, but right now its disgusting, not worth doing over the mounts if you want to stay sane.
edit: also not sure how it works for duplicate mounts - im really hoping you cant get duplicates.

O wow, well she says she will just do enough to get 1000 currency for the bird mount and than done xD. Hopefully it drops her favorite panda mount, if not to bad.

Another friend (not the hardcore farmer) has done 711 runs and has one mount so far.
However it is RNG based so someone out there probably got lucky after a few runs.

Never had a mount from island, and I’ve done 6x normal on 4 character. Not every week as I took a break, but I’d say between 500-1000 runs. I did farm it like mad a few months ago to catch up on AP too.
Yee it’s not a panda, it’s like the mount from MOP DELUXE edition. MOP being referred to as panda xpac by me.
