Is there any way to disable the new cast bar spell animations and revert to how it was before the new patch? The new animations make it VERY HARD to see cooldowns and procs, like instant cast procs. I don’t want to use yet another addon or redesign my whole UI with weak auras just because of this.

I hope they create an option for this aswel. I think they did this change, because there was a bug, that would make procs button flash uncontrollably to the point u can see if said action is off cd or not.

I have stopped playing until this is fixed, my head and eyes just hurt too much after one dungeon.

Used Zperl and Bartender for years. I am still using them which says it all about Blizzard’s half boiled attempts to “update the ui”, when all that happened was copy some elements from elvui, roughly throw it together during a lunch break and hand it over saying “here. new UI, this will definitely stop people using add ons”.

A player created a little lightwieght addon that will hide these new effects on the actions bars, making them like they were before the patch. I’ve been using it a couple of days now and it works great.
I know having to use an addon it not the perfect solution but it’s the best you will get until (IF) Blizzard decides to add an option to disable them.
