Is there anywhere I can contact Blizzard for an idea?

I don’t want to contact them the wrong way and waste their time but I’d like to suggest a pet? I guess you wouldn’t call it a pet really, more like a follower? I was thinking a child, male or female, to accompany the adventurer on their travels. People could role play that their ‘son’ or ‘daughter’ grows up and becomes whatever other character you make.

In the game, Esc to get up the menu, then “Help”.

There is a Suggestions button on the side of the form. You can type in any suggestions there.

I really would avoid the word “pet”. It is used in two different senses in the game already - Hunters have pets, and there are Battle Pets, so it can only cause confusion. Also “Follower”. Followers are characters who have agreed to go on missions for you, that you acquire by doing quests that help or impress them.

Thank you I’ll do that! I have no idea what I’d call it if both pet and follower would cause such confusion but I’m sure those at Blizzard would understand what I mean and if they create it will name it accordingly

Maybe “ward”, “squire”, “trainee”, “apprentice”?

There’s an amusing quest in … one of the Plaguelands … Western Plaguelands … where your job is to go out with a newbie Druid, Zen’kiki, who gets things hilariously wrong. And another series in Highmountain where you do the same for an aspiring Gnome Hunter - appropriate because that was the first expansion where Gnomes learned to be Hunters.

I can imagine something could be done with apprentices. I doubt they will do it, but it doesn’t hurt to suggest.

Isn’t there already a few?

Isn’t it the same for Zan’kiki? Western Plaguelands was redone in Cataclysm which is the first expansion that had Troll Druids.

I didn’t know that!
