I want to be asked a question. This year, will there not be a physical version of the expansion? I’ve been looking in stores and I can’t find it and I realized that when the collector’s version was presented, it doesn’t have the physical version of the expansion, but a digital key. And I got the idea that maybe this year there won’t be a physical version.

Very possible. Physical copies of PC games are getting really old school, and it doesn’t make too much sense to distribute them around if people are just going to be using a digital key instead (plus, most modern computers don’t have a disk drive).
We’ll have physical disks for console games in the future, but for PC I doubt there’ll be many left in a couple of years.
Sadly even console versions are getting less and less games on discs, and some versions of the Xbox and the new one are entirely without disc drives at all.
It’s bad for people with really slow internet like me, downloading WoW for me took 2 days and 10’ish hours… So popping a disc into a system and maybe doing a patch saves a lot of time.
Too bad that. My computer still has a CD player, eh eh eh. But I liked the physical editions, because I used the boxes to decorate my shelf.

I think there won’t be one. Stores that usually offered an option to preorder to box so you will get it day before release and play on midnight release don’t have any preorder for Shadowlands box apart from the collectors edition. I have other expansion in boxes so it sucks. If they won’t show after release I will just buy digital.
I feel your pain. The only source of internet for me are phone cables.
I also believe the time of physical copies is passing very quickly more and more people buy digital copy’s . But as with most things we need to go with the time or you will be left behind
