Alright this is a weird one. But i’ll try to explain it.
When you launch the game and select your character. The first item you try in the dressing room (CTRL + Click) will not show if your gear is transmogged. For example: if my current shoulders are transmogged. and after launching the game i want to preview another pair of shoulders the first time i click it just opens the dressing room but still displays my old shoulders. I already tried to disable all my addons but the problem still persists so I’m wondering if its a bug ingame.
It only happens the first time after just launching the game. And i can reproduce this everytime.
(this happens on Retail i accidently posted this with my classic character.)

So we totally understand that sounds frustrating, though just disabling addons does not actually reset your UI. You would need to perform a full UI reset:

Thanks for responding, I tried this but the problem still persists. I think it might be a bug. It only happens with transmogged items. When i remove any transmogged items the dressing room works normally without any issues.
Edit:
I tested the problem on my brother’s pc who never installed wow on that computer. on his account. so everything was fresh. And it still happened. So i think its a bug with the dressing room.
Way to recreate this bug everytime:
- Transmog an item. (for example body)
- Exit the game.
- Start the game and login to your character.
- The first body you try out (CTRL + Click) will not apear just your normal gear in the dressing room. once you press a second time it will show.
- After this the dressing room will just work as normal.
