I think Deathwing is flying about because I zoned into Blasted Lands to find the entire zone on fire. Not seen him personally tho, maybe the pre-event is still to come? Maybe not, this is a rush job operation now.

Depends on how busy zone is, if it’s busy Deathwing comes definitely. Never once on another realm where large RP groups were that he didn’t come swooping in.

They may need to lower that trigger number depending on population in a zone or it may not trigger. (If that was how it was done in the first place. Barrens was definitely one zone be it North or South Barrens.)

Died twice from Deathwing today. Really annoying and wastes time while lvling cause whole zone is on fire.

I bet you also cried about Wrath prepatch event, so Blizzard killed it early, before it because most fun.

I may be wrong but is it possible that some of these will begin next week? I have a vague memory of that happening.

Deathwing is flying over, killed me with some spewing fire and i got the achievement “Killed by Deathwing”. About other stuff i have no clue :stuck_out_tongue:

Just got killed as well. Pretty happy as I never got it originally.

Strange, I played like all day, and never ever got that - only once saw a zone that was already on fire. Even started a dedicated chat channel for reporting his occurrence. I thought it was such a rare event because it was meant to leave only the lucky few with the “Stood in the Fires” achievement, but eventually they made it so everyone who dies in the raid gets it.

I got it - back then Guildie said she got it. Took HS and Portal from Island to Uldum. And got charred :wink:
And the whole Disrupting the Rituals … so fun. Being told like, THis RITUAL, not a friggin’ recipe!

I was there in 2008, but 2022 event was cut too short to have same effect.

Yes, I didn’t try prepatch in 2022. I guess it was last season of Shadowlands, my first expansion to play in. So I was focused on it.

they skipped elemental invasion and cultist simply coz they dont care much about cata
deathwing is flying but he is never been part of prepatch, he will fly whole cata
