Is this leak real? (not Shadowlands)

They almost went by unnoticed on 4chan and they came separately with no info. I usually don’t believe leaks especially when they come from 4chan but this logo looked blizzlike enough to be shared here. The font used is unique and kinda similar to the bfa one (not that usual “burning wrath” font used on the most fake leaks) and the border looks unique. Also the name is pretty cool and would come great with an old world revamp since there are many hints in the game that point to a world revamp.
There is also that Shadowlands leak but that one came with way too many details and the story seems too over the top for an end to an expansion. There was also a few months ago that leak called “Awakenings” that looked believable but it was debunked quickly on MMoChampion.
Wow expansions were leaked before and none of them were that detailed, so take everything with a grain of salt.

We expect that 9.0 will be announced at Blizzcon, so what are your hopes/speculation?

I hope for the next xpac to be fun!
My speculation is, that it might not even be announced at Blizzcon this year

My biggest wish in next espansion is to use old zones in Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms to pull history further.

This would be refreshing. While Cataclysm didn’t necessarily improve the world it was nice to see everything brought back up to speed, so to speak.

High chance they wont even show next expansion at Blizzcon and just preview 8.3 patch.

I hope they will show the new expansion but i have my doubts.

As for the leak, who knows really.There are so many of these “leaks” on the internet it’s difficult to take them seriously.

Though i will admit that almost nobody took the guy that leaked WOD entirely seriously and even mocked him yet 2 weeks after his leak,it all became true.

So…there is a chance.

But as always i am trying to keep my hopes at a minimum to avoid disappointment.

Hey it’s fine by me, if that stuff is really the next expansion. :v:
I’m all in for it.

But I doubt the age of awakening will be designed in dark volcano.
They’d probably make it all white. And change the portrait aswell. Maybe add some flowers around it.

But to think someone went through all this trouble to make it look real is just super funny. Typical 4chan stuff.

dont get your hopes up if its a rework, just look at cata. Rework there meant random splashes of lava and cracks everywhere + inserting pop culture parodies and memes everywhere. only the forsaken areas turned out well with that rework

And if its not a rework but just reusing it, then darkshore and arathi would be te future of the other zones, basicly just getting lame dailies

Pretty much every leak sounds horrible. If they are trying to bring back the classic players with this, they’ll fail.

So Sylvanas ends up doing what Arthas wanted to do all along? If it does happn, the irony meter will explode.

Anyway, since our ghost appears in the Shadowlands each time we die in game, what will happen if we die while inside the Shadowlands? :thinking:

BfA logo uses “Burning Wrath” font (like all other expacs do), not sure what kinda logo have you seen?
