Friend of mine just surprised me with buying the shadowlands epic edition for me for my birthday. But i can not redeem the code cause it says my account is not eligible for adding the shadowlands epic edition. So i did some research and i saw some topic answered by blizzard with saying in order to add the epic edition or heroic edition you need to have the shadowlands first? Ummm excuse me, even if this is the case why it is not written anywhere in shadowlands buying page?
What am i suppose to do now? Buy shadowlands normal edition and then use the key to upgrade it? So in order to buy the epic edition you need to pay 113 euro then? What kind of a system is this? It literally says in the shadowlands pre purchase page that epic edition has shadowlands base game. I have never seen some kind of a system like this and it is so hard to believe that this is coming from a big company like blizzard. Like this is the first time that i am seeing such a thing like this.
@Thromendus: Do you have more than one WoW account on your Battle.net account? Perhaps you are trying to upgrade a wrong WoW account? Or⦠could your friend have bought a wrong version (US instead of EU, for example)?
Yes i do have more then one account but i have eu account and us account and it is not letting me to use it in any of them. And it also says in the pre purchase page that epic edition is avaliable for every country in the game. Even if you buy it with dolar or euro it says it is playable in every region
Yeah but i dont think that i need to get bfa for each of my account, that would be⦠you know unwise right? I only wanna buy shadowlands for my āāoneāā account why would i buy bfa to every other account i have just to buy shadowlands to one of them
i never said that you have to, did i? i said only that the account you want to redeem the sl code on has to have bfa, so if you tried to redeem the code on one that doesnt have it then it might pose a problem, thats all.
Actually no. Blizzard refuses to allow players to use different currency for purchases. for that, you canāt use gift cards or such. You have to directly convert your credit/paypal. Which means, you who live in EU for example, can freely spend money with your credit card to buy a US account, but you wonāt be able to use your EU credit in battlenet to buy a us version.
Just blizzard things. 15 years and they canāt even allow people to play with people around the globe in pve. Look at destiny 2. You can play with anyone around the world in PVE content, as if youāre in a lan, playing with your friend nearby, with zero lags or delay.
And yet, Wow wonāt even allow you to transfer characters between realms.
I guess that would require too much work for no pay. so obviously not worth the effort.
Just contact blizzard. They should deal with it if your copy is legitimate.
I can now buy āHeroic Edition Upgradeā for 15 euro and āEpic Edition Upgradeā for 35 euro. I also have the normal Heroic and Epic editions available for 55 euro and 75 euro respectively. The first two however are upgrades to my Shadowlands purchase and require me to own Shadowlands in order to activate.
Are you sure your mate didnāt get you the upgrade instead of the complete 75 euro costing edition?
