Is this some kind of a joke blizzard?

people discovered that if you switch your own vpn to a US server your download speed would perform better.
US forum / game has the options to report bugs and multiple other options WHY EU DOES NOT.
WORLD MS IN EU IS SKYROCKETING ( past couple weeks) as if the server is in the moon, i didn’t even have this much lagg when i was at NA server what the hell is going on.

THIS WAS NOTICED BY MULTIPLE PLAYERS IN EU THAT HAS NO LAGG OR LOW INTERNET PROBLEMS ! yet here we are.

Blizzard don’t read forums… and they for sure don’t respond to the forums…

Just send mails or tickets if you want awnsers.

To be told to raise it on the forums.

you dont need vpn to access NA forums. its not nextflix.
and you can report bugs in-game ticket system.

Do people actually lag on EU? Outside of first week of new expansions, and world bosses on reset day. Can’t remember ever lagging on forums or ingame not to the above.

Just checked it, 15/4 ms here…
Yep, truely “skyrocketing latency” there.

Also, why on earth are you using a VPN to browse these forums? That makes no sense at all. It is not as if you need to be private seeing as do need to login and all…

And better(or worse) latency due to switching to a US server on a VPN is not Blizzards fault, its how networks work…

Basically, if your ISP has a badly optimised infrastructure wich adds lots of hops and so is slow to connect to US servers a VPN can make that better by tunneling directly to the US, skipping hops you otherwise do get with your ISP.

But thats not Blizzards’ fault, but your IPS’s.

My latency has been 15 World / 15 Home since day one of the expansion.
There is the occasional spike doing World Bosses, but other than that it’s been constant.

Not sure where you get Skyrocketing from.

No, OPs experiences of that dosen’t translate to every other server. It’s also ironic they tell that when they LITERALLY ARE PLAYING ON A MASSIVE POP SERVER. WHICH IS BOUND TO HAVE LAG FREQUENTLY DUE TO THIS!

This is indeed the default response :frowning:

However I find that if I continue the ticket and explain that there is nowhere on the forums to report it and the link provided is to the US site, please help - sometimes a human does actually intervene. Despite saying they don’t offer help with quests, they have twice solved quest issues on the second asking.

Hopefully you can get the same if you keep chasing a ticket about network issues?

It might not be Blizzard’s fault, but they could do with admitting there’s a problem and talking about it. I’ve been getting intermittent latency spikes as high as 1000ms and lasting several minutes. Not good when we’re progressing a raid boss! And nothing else on my line shows any lag at all.

Well… that’s dumb?

Do ticket responders think the forum population can awnser things that are directed at the blizzard staff?

I’m on silvermoon though, you don’t get much bigger. I play way more then I should, last time I remember lagging was week 1 start of SL lol.

I’m on Draenor and Silvermoon, only lag is the occasions of a world boss, otherwise 15ms both home and world,

So sorry can’t see where the lag you are experiencing is, unless its your own home setup.

Yeah i get that, i just find it ironic from OP due to as said. Seems they are in the minority having this experience also.

You can get a Account suspension for using a VPN. (In-game)(Not the forum)

that’s you, this is others experiencing same latency issue.

the vpn was to download an update faster, been talked about on reddit already.

Ion has already clearly said in the past what he thinks of European players.

Ah, but you are claiming its Blizzard’s fault, wich it can’t be if not everyone has that issue.

That doesn’t mean the issue does not exist, just that the issue most likely is not on Blizzard’s end but more likely be caused by your ISP.

Shtt they’re listening!
