Where did I say best quality?
ANY progression would be welcome past 1 week of investment.
This was a thing in the past history… but so am I apparently.
I bid you all adieu. This is behind me now.
I’m too old for this anyway.
Just try to find something you enjoy in the meantime untill the devs come up with something for people like us too. They soon will because the m+ and raid enthusiasts will finish their gearing, stop playing and blizz will realize you need more in order to keep people.I started playing at end of Mop and I remember it took me some time to level, now it seems way too fast.I believe when people said they want faster leveling it was for alts, not mains.Mains should take more than 10 hours or whatever in my opinion.I am a milenial so its not about generations (for the ones that are complaining about you being a boomer).Wow is used as escapism for many of us.But this esport thingy is easily destoying something that was an adventure. Now its just go go and yes as u said l2p and git gud.And the most I hate when they link dps meters(I have my own,I already know my place,no need for a reminder). And especially this season when you have to dodge so many things, how am I supposed to do better when I cant stand still for a second?.I know there are people who can do it,but to be fair each of us have a skill ceiling and when its capped thats it.Like asking a fish to climb a tree…Stay strong and lets hope we ll get something good to do soon in game.(Tbh i digress but Torghast for me would’ve been fine if it had gear).Or something like Korthia with a few tweaks(place was too small and grey but gear progression was goodish, maybe if it was a few ilvls higher was better)
Many people do lower keys below 10. You can do those slowly but yeah. If you get bored of open world content, raids are a no go and PvP is a dead end, then you have only one game mode which is boring.
I also do only m+ and start to get bored. So I already having fun in another game.
I’ve been playing my low RIO Evoker quite a lot these past couple of weeks, so I can’t agree with you. Started at the very bottom and made my way through a number or +2, +5, +8, finally landing in +11 which I farm for infusions now – dozens of keys in total, one after another. You just need to be a little bit patient when forming groups.
And you also need to find one single class that you like so you could commit to it, regardless of flickering nerfs and buffs. Because at this point, you aren’t even playing the game, and I’m not even sure what “niche” you were talking about.
I also see SOME solo players on the forums praising it.
If it’s any consolation, I’m not seeing it either.
With Dragonflight, they have made decent zones and music. Story ain’t great, character treatment deserves a Gordon Ramsay haranguing, and the virtue signalling is repulsive, and makes me distrust the company, but I guess we can say it’s not as bad as Shadowlands. They nailed Dragonriding, though they should bring back the option of normal flying for those who want it NOW.
But for me, another solo player, I find its end-game pretty empty. I have no interest in endless mob-grinds for the Blues Brothers or the Primals. World Quests are very very bad, and un-fun. Events are inconvenient, and also un-fun. I struggle to find anything I actually want to do, anything I enjoy doing.
That is pretty much my impression of Dragonflight. To me, it has a very Warlords vibe, but without the nice Garrison.
To be fair sometimes you like a class very much but blizz makes some pointless changes wich ruins the class/specc you like.
Survival is dead to me since its legion overhaul. I never liked BM because it feels like i am basicly botting. And now they took double tap away from my favorite specc.
Sometimes your favorite specc/class just gets destoyed for no reason wich forces you to change
I do aggree they do that, and I loved the old surv when it was ranged still, I would not say BM is botting, becuse if you realy played it, you will notice, to even have a chance at times to compeate with others, your realy have to play your heart out, specialy in aoe situations,
Yes, balancing this expansion has been weird - there have seemingly been no slight adjustments, just some oddly thought through nerfbats of doom.
I was doing fine on shadow priest in pvp but it really did go from OK, a little bit OP to weak as a kitten, rather than just moving it from a bit OP to more balanced.
It does seem as though in pvp as soon as any one class is seen to be able to do something cool it’s nerfed to the point of forced re roll.
Only thing is your point on conquest —- you don’t have to gain ranking to get conquest, you just have to play rated including solo shuffle. Non rated gives you a little bit as well as some quests giving you a little bit (e.g. earn honor in epic BG) ……but this hasn’t changed from previous expansions. What has changed is that any extra tiers on conquest that come with rating don’t affect pvp so actually it’s a better expansion for casual/solo pvpers as elite gladiator types wont have more of a gear advantage.
