Is Warlock a good raid- pug class?

Hey! So i’m a pugger because of personal life not allowing me to organize set times to raid.

Is warlock a class in which pug groups often need or invite? I’m coming from prot paladin where I get invited whereever they need a tank. Is it like that with warlock on the dps side? Or is there another DPS class I should go for if I want to “safe” an invite in a pug group when ilvl isnt the issue.

Just the summoning stone itself is enough to get an invite as a Warlock for pugs. On the DPS side; Demo is very good. Dest and Aff on the other hand suffers a little bit on the single target side of things.

I would say go for it.

Just gonna say it, affliction doesn’t suffer on 1 target in raid encounters. It suffers from cleave in how it does 0 cleave and gets minimal funnel, but is also x20 times easier to play with malefic legendary. As you just have to keep stacks up, and with 30% haste and above, you generate more shards than needed to keep it up. Proof. My logs.
