As the title says, will be the Dragonflight CE available also for local retailers like every previous WoW CE? It has been a while since announcement and no local retailers in my country offering it for preorder yet - they are saying that they didnt recieved no statement from Blizzard yet about Dragonflight CE. So I just wonder if I will have to wait a little more or make an preorder from Blizzard Gear store - but I dont know how I can preorder it if my country is not listed on the list of countries, its just right in the central Europe (with membership in European Union) and its not listed there, lol…
I believe it is exclusive to the gear shop (at least at the moment) there was a thread last week where it seem to be confirmed.
Hopefully for people like yourself it will not always be that way.
I cant really remember now, if it was same for Shadowlands CE aswell or no (that exclusive to the gear shop), but SL CE became later available at local retailers with no problem (though but somewhat noticeably in smaller amounts of copies, it was sold out very fast than previous WoW CE). I just dont want to miss out the limited copies of CE, but atm there is no chance for me to preorder it from europe gear store when my country is not listed there. I send yesterday a request to the gear store support what can I do about it if Im not able to mark my country on the list but didnt recieved any reply yet…

Thanks for the link, but unfortunately I dont really get then, how people from my country, who are interested in getting this CE, are supposed to preorder it. I can find for example my country on the list on the US gear store, but thats absolutely pointless for me since we cant claim the US game code here in EU… I just hope I will get some responce from the blizzard gear shop support tomorrow at least

Local retailers wont stock it unless maybe if it is pre ordered . The cost and very limited interest in the item means that thry wont automatically stick it.
Well I would say that the interest in WoW Collectors Edition were always high in my country, they were sold out overall fast in general, even with this Dragonflight CE there is interest in getting it in my country according to requests and demand, but no local retailers is offering it yet for preorder

Demand may be high from Blizzard, but it isn’t financially viable for chain game stores to order enough stock ‘in case’ they can’t sell them.
Most definitely won’t be for Pre Order, only Pre Purchase.
Well so it seems like Blizzard Gear store support is just clueless - got no reply for my request, tried to live chat with them about this issue, where I have been told by their support agent he will take a look on this, but after few minutes he ended live chat with me with no responce and I when I tried to live chat with them again, none on live chat answered me even after several tries lol…
I guess people from our country are not officialy able to get Dragonflight CE, though we were able to get every previous WoW CE before from local retailers, like wth is this, literally every neighboring state around us are able to preorder it from gear store, but we just cant for some incomprehensible reason…
Which country may i ask? Maybe its a law issue out of Blizzards hands?
Also check on amazon, sometimes they allow pre purchases
Czech Republic, I guess there should not really be any law issues or so, our country is quite long in membership with European Union aswell
Still, maybe check local laws, as i dont think Blizzard would voluntary restrict sales.

For me this effectively almost doubles the price.
I live in Norway where we have to pay +25% tax on everything shopped from outside Norway (this tax is also on the shipping costs), and the company’s that handles this take about 20 euro extra for doing this taxation “service”…
Earlier the coll ed. was about same costs in Norway (and Norwegian web shops) as it was international web shops.
So if it was in a Norwegian web shop i would be about 129.99 Euro, and most have free shipping…
Now with this genius change its 129.99 + 25 (shipping) + 25%(tax) + 20 (service cost for taxing) = 213,74.
So this Coll ed. will cost about 210-220 euro in Norway… Thx Blizz
