Isle of quel danas

Anyone else hyped for when this place gets released with all it’s dailies? I remember the world pvp there as being some of the most fun times I had in wow

It was called Isle of QQ’Danas on the original TBC forum for a good reason. The dominant faction could go through some moderate effort to completely prevent the underdog from doing the dailies, unlike the Nethwrwing island.
Boy, am I glad to be on a monofaction server in this regard

Well the forums is pretty much only used by people who whine about something  people rarely go on here when they are just having fun and enjoying

Looking forward to the 24/7 wpvping!

hyped but also sad because it means tbc is ending

When i see the “WPvP” especially now with the WPvP quests giving honor it feel like no one want to PvP anymore & just rush the objectives.

The hellfire ones are just about “waiting your turn” but 0 PvP happen.

I guess Quel’Danas will be the same, so, no i’m not really hyped about it.

it will not be, because none of the quests there are pvp quests. you will murder people of the enemy faction to steal their quest mobs tho, and they will murder you, so wpvp will be lit

after phase 2 of vanilla classic, when on minority faction as fury warrior you could not move in open world without getting murdered by parties of enemy players everywhere you landed, ( run from closest fly path to Blackrock mountain to raid Molten core took me 30minutes of dying and releasing few yards from corpse closer to raid entrance each time), i rerolled to pve server, best decision i ever made in wow

Good luck with that since most servers are 1 faction servers.

While I play on firemaw and probably wont have an issue… I also wont even bother doing them

I must be a weirdo in that I actually enjoy the TBC dailies. I’m actually enjoying farming Netherwing right now. Only one I don’t enjoy is The Not So Friendly Skies, due to it’s horrible design.

So yeah I’m looking forward to Quel’Danas, though, as with Netherwing, I’ll wait a few weeks before starting in order for all the crowds to thin out somewhat. Many people get pretty bored after a couple of weeks and start to only do them periodically.

The thing I’m really looking forward to is having Primal Nethers change from BoP to BoE as it mean’s I’ll actually be able to finish my armor set. I’ve had all other required mats for several months, but actually winning a roll for a Primal Nether has thus far proved impossible.

So, that’s confirmed then?

yea 10chars

PvP against what? Most servers are monofaction anyway.

You can buy Primal Nether at the badge vendor for 10 heroic badges right now.

I’m well aware of it my friend. The problem is that requires me do do 20 Heroics, as I need two Primals. This is complicated by the fact that I can only play either very early in the morning on weekdays, or maybe four hours on Saturdays and alternate Sundays due to the nature of my job which regularly sees me working 13-15-hour shifts into the early hours of the morning.

Consequently I have very little opportunity to run many instances. The only faction I’m at Revered with is Coilfang Res, and that’s only due to me buying the armaments used for turn in.

So, to sum up - in an absolutely ideal situation it would likely take me roughly 20 weeks to get the 20 badges, and is heavily dependent upon getting groups willing to run Underbog or Slave Pens. My guild is largely tied up with Kharazan on Weekends, so Saturday nights are out, meaning my only option is to try and pursuade people to do UB or SP on a Saturday afternoon - which is not always successful.

Real life eh?

20 heroic bosses. Most heroics have 3-5 bosses in them, consequently you only need 4-7 heroics, and badges are guaranteed. Not a matter of one evening, but surely no more than one week.

Never mind I just read the rest of the post… well what can I say, run some normals?

Good thing im not on a monofaction server

Ah yes the wpvp. When basically every server on classic TBC is just 1 faction. Going to be really nice wpvp.
