Sylvanas fances the little lion. He is the memory of the Varian she never had. 
one rison why i never played Alliance is becourse of Varian and Andvin they bad leaders compeared to Garrosh and Thrall .
Because this is what warcraft is about. Since warcraft 1 there was conflict between orcs and humans, horde and alliance. If you cant get past that, then find another game where there are no factions.

Seriously, you are playing night elf… The single biggest victim of this piss poor faction conflict. You should have been your own independent faction, not some bootlicking punchingbags for a kingdom you had zero relations to on the other side of the planet.

Except that conflict doesn’t exist since the end of MoP where it was conflict between Garrosh and everyone else and then Sylvanas and everyone else. So for more than 6 years, it doesn’t make any sense that we are working together but not really at the same time.
And that’s just the story part of it, which is irrelevant at this point because they don’t put much effort into writing it at this point, so they might as well just remove faction restrictions and let all the players play together without one side having a huge number advantage.

Idk, but what i do know is that if they would remove factions, i would use the ingame services for the first time in my life, immediately, and change this character to night elf.

Also in Shadowlands we are working together, there is no difference if you’re Horde or Alliance…
You can be Horde and help Night Elf souls come to Ardenweald, and Alliance and help Kael’thas redeem for his sins, etc.

Was dumbfounded staring at my fellow class hall member in Legion that i couldn’t cooperate because of a invisible barrier. And still dumbfounded facing the same s*** in Shadowlands.

Also, they answered the question to cross faction play a few years ago at Blizzcon.
What I would personally like is for them to work on faction balance as the Alliance player base is so small nowadays.
