Have played private servers and they do not at all do it all better than Blizz, overall that is.
One of the things you face in private servers is gm’s colluding with players, which is really really bad. You can say that Blizz not hindering bots is very bad too ofc.

The game on official is maybe a bit better finished, scripting is better. But lfg missing and servers handling is clearly worst than the “mane” private server
