So I have not played for years decided to download the battle.net launcher and download the game before buying sub and the game is stuck on initializing, this is a fresh clean install on a new PC since I last played.
Any suggestion on how to fix would be appreciated I’ve googled this issue and tried a lot of the fixes I found and none of them work.
You are not alone brother, got the same issue, im stuck at 372/372 bytes and it wont move on from there
Super annoying I couldn’t sleep so got up early decided I want to try the game again I knew it would take an hour or just over to download and boom stuck on initilizing I’m on 221 thousand something
so has there been any info what this is about? i am stuck at initializing for one day now …
Not that I am aware of might as well just wait till todays maintenance is done it may just fix it
UPDATE: Finally I got somewhere fully updated windows 11 then tested the download nothing I then switched to beta build of windows 11 and fully updated it finally started downlaoding after 10 minutes or so, might not work for everyone but good luck to all who try it.
And now to wait about an hour to download then I can purchase a sub and jump back in its been about 3 years since I last properly played
