Hey there support forums,
Today my guild were running Karazhan, as we killed the Warchief, in the chess event, all of our raid received a prompt regarding the instance ID, and if we wanted to be saved a 8/10 ID.
We all just clicked accept, but we then noticed we could not open the chest, however, our Shaman in the run was able to, and he opened it but was unable to assign the loot to anybody else in the run via master looter, he was also unable to trade the loot to myself or anybody else who tried.
We received King’s Defender, which is a pretty sweet weapon that our prot warrior is devastated he missed out on, and we also received Headdress of the High Potentate that would have been really rejuvenating for our druid to receive!
I, and the Shaman, have both opened tickets on the topic and my response was very unsatisfactory. I was advised that after investigating our raid logs, we should have all been eligible, and that I should go write a bug report (which is why I’m posting this here, as I believe this is where bug reports are sent?) and write-off the items because there’s nothing that can be done about them. The response I received also had multiple typing/grammar issues and it didn’t really feel like there was nothing that could be done, and it felt more like there was nothing that would be done. My ticket ID is EU78026096.
If there’s anything more that can be done with re-assigning the loot to where it needs to be, our Instance ID is 74363469 and I’ve included more information including names in the ticket mentioned above.
Thanks for the time everyone, I hope nobody else experiences this issue, and I hope the bug itself can be resolved soon! Keep enjoying TBC!
