Issues with telegraphed attacks in expeditions

This has been happening for quite a while now, there seems to be quite a few mobs in expeditions that telegraph their heavy hitting attack but then when the cast finishes, they turn to face you and either knock off 50% of your hp, or outright kill you.

So far today I’ve seen it on a Makrura rare elite that did it with his Wide Swipe ability and on every Giant Dreadfang I’ve come across on their Venomous Spray ability. There are more, such as certain earth elementals doing it with Upheaval.

Anyone else been experiencing this? Is it a bug,? Intented? or am I going loopy?

Sounds like the same nonsense that happens in M+10 keystones with Shadow Smash.

This is new? It’s been happening to me on the regular since MoP.

I thought i saw that too, though at the time I just brushed it off as my bad positioning, since I couldn’t repeat the situation.
