Ok so I just checked if after all this years of waiting I would have a chance to be able to ride this perfect mount for my character (BEE-themed as you can see) and it’s still referenced as “Requires any Alliance race”
I think this is nonsensical since bees are not tied to the Alliance lore-wise, the war is over, the pandaren and high-elves are found in both factions, and crossfaction groups exist now anyway
It’s pretty well known at this point that the great bee Loa, Queen Buzzyboots declared her allegiance to the Alliance after the second war where Khadgar and Tirion Fordring teamed up to defend the Bee folk from the evil demon hornets that were under the command of Gul’dan.
Bees have been an alliance staple since warcraft 3, so please stop trying to ruin faction identity. I’ve had enough of these world of peace craft threads, you are destroying this game for everybody else, besides bees are ridiculously out of place in the horde anyway. It’s not like they are going to pollinate Durotar. GET A GRIP, who do you think YOU are? how entitled you must be to take away everything that this game has given me, from meeting my first girlfriend, then my wife after her, from meeting all my real-world friends who have saved me from 6 attempts on my own life, yeah I bet you weren’t thinking about that were you? and without them, I would not be anywhere the courageous and strong person I am today, I have tackled every obstacle life has given me and I am twice the man you are, because I fought for everything I had. And after everything I’ve been through, you seriously gonna sit here and ask for fkin bees on horde? Everyone here agrees with me what you’re doing is wrong, unfair and destructive
Honeyback Harvester will become available cross faction when the factions are formally merged and Gnomes are allowed to use the AHs in Orgrimmar. The devs still have a lot of spaghetti coding to sort out.
Gonna answer this before I leave for summer vacation
Yes, the bees are not tied to alliance. Tho the quests to achieve the bee mount is in Kul Tiras, to be fair.
There might have been some connection between the Bees and Kul Tirans, thus making a connection to the Alliance.
That being said, I do think after obtaining it with a alliance character should be account wide both horde and alliance. I’m pretty sure the Alliance can ride Vulperan Alpaca they obtain in Vol’dun, so same should apply with the Bee. After all, the Horde player was sneaking around in Kul’tiras at one point.
Well, the other two mounts you could get on Horde side (Tocali and the Pterodactyl mount) are both Horde aligned and yet they are available to use on your Alliance alt. In that light it should not be restricted to one-side only.
It is just another odd case like with the motorbike mount: Horde won the competition, but Alliance were the actual winners because they can still buy the mount.
Oh She means bees-ness and She’s a force to bee reckoned with.
But what’s all the buzz about?
Honey, bee calm!
Life is not all it’s cracked up to bee.
Beauty is in the eye of the bee-holder.
We have such nice mounts so I don’t hive a clue why we would need that
Beetween you and me, it’s time to buzz on out of here
