This is the retail tourist in a nutshell, doesnt raid hard content in mythic but thinks they are part of the hardcore minority of retail, a couple of wipes on yog saron normal mode and they lose their mind. Dont tell me that the guys in his raids are classic players, its the same ppl playing with him no matter where he goes, in retail and classic.
So tell me again retail andys. Your guilds broke down during naxx 40, ssc/tk and sunwell, how many nerfs are you gonna ask for now with ulduar so you can feel good about yourself ???
Im litterally talking about people posting stuff like that. Saying that you are in the same league as ppl who been grinding private servers and ptr for 15 years dont make your case. The world first race is a joke aswell that allowed the guilds to skip bosses like xt hm, ignis and razorscale.
Matter of fact is, the same ppl meming about it being easy because top guilds do it are the ones crying for nerfs later, exactly what they did during ssc tk and sunwell.
Its a retorical question, they are actually not being so cocky anymore because they got their reckoning these days with their dad guilds. They will however post stuff soon about it actually being overtuned and that its not hard because of mechanics and that it should be nerfed.
Asmongold TV channel has posted vods from complete fail raids - for example the infamous 10 hour gruul pug at the start of TBC. That was good content. I guess the ulduar streams weren’t as entertaining?
I don’t even know anyone from retail that has tried & failed/ragequit classic. They either loved it and cleared everything easily or didn’t make it past level 10. Even my classic dad guild cleared ssc/tk and kj before nerf, you’d have to be a total LFR player to not do so
Same Asmongold said that Ulduar atm is the hardest content in classic since the launch of it. So you kind of contridict yourself.
But he also said that Ruby lifepools m+15 key is is much harder than any content classic has to offer, and it’s not even close.
Both game modes has bad players, both modes has good ones. I had bafd players in m+ who never interupt, stand in stuff, ninja pull and leave when die.
Yesterday I had bad healer in wrath regular heroic, who gets fixated by mob and just stands there, doesn’t cast a heal, doesn’t run, dies and then writes “tank???”. And then I had a group of 2.8-3.1k gs players who cleared h+ without a single wipe.
Both modes has good players and bad ones. Nothing new.

He streamed on his alt channel (zackrawrr), and in his defence I can say that his group was awful, he didn’t do mistakes and he could have downed a lot of hardmodes with a competent group.

Im pretty certain, its been identified before during SLs season 1 there are a collective amount of people who do this stuff in asmongolds raids on purpose to see him rage.
When mcconnel raged hard against the raid while asmongold had walked off during Nathria against final boss.
You dont need to raid mythic difficulty to meet the same difficulty as WoTLK raids. Asmongold makes his money off the back people like to see him rage, so intentionally annoy him.
To stack asmongold doesnt premake those raids, he just openly invites his viewers, proven several times over,
Most of asmongolds viewers dont play WoW retail. Or only partake in it to a mount collector status. Alot of people just watch him play WoW because hes funny when he gets angry.
So no. This is a retail streamer whos invited the first to apply to his classic raid. Which means a selection of those joining wont be retail andies at all.
He offers a open ticket entry into raids on classic. Players on classic who dont have the achievements, haventgot the experience will watch him to get into his raids to get saif experience so they can get in on the PUGs / guilds.
They do the same in retail to him. Because he doesnt check achievements or logs. People will wait for him to do the content to apply

Who cares about any of these streamers. I remember in Vanilla Classic I seen those with their name and “TV” afterwards obviously trying to promote their streaming channel.
Just like the two royal prats in real life we nearly all know about, but I won’t mention their names, you just give them attention mentioning streamer names and watching them etc.
He also kept the meme alive about classic being easy saying , ”im not saying ulduar is hard for someone who plays retail, but for classic players”. Asmongold represents every retail pleb who is bad at the game but just throwing excuses that other people are bad.
Current retail is hard because it is very bloated with mechanics, for which players need tons of weakauras to handle (it’s never ending cycle of WA makers vs WoW devs). 95% of casuals wouldn’t even be able to play it without it. But I personally dislike this kind of difficulty, that’s why I prefer plauing wrath over DF. I don’t think dungeon trash pack of 4mobs having 12+ different abilities is a good thing for the game.
When original classic was made - there were only dbm with timers, there weren’t so many weakauras/helping addons/etc. that massively helps player.
But now when classic also has all this weakaura package - it is easier than what it was supposed to be. Machine basically tells you when and what you should be doing. It tells you what buttons to click, when to click potion, what to click trinket, etc.etc.
I don’t know why blizzard banned some of the addons (like questhelper), but at the same time left broken addon like weakauras untouched.
