It’s the end of Warcraft

True i buy the 6 month at a time and don’t even play for maybe two months of the sub due to boredom still believe it would be a nice gesture for blizzard to give us the expansion free or cheaper considering the amount of money we give them is more than enough when most of the time we get what we’d receive in other game for a one time payment for the base then only have to buy the new expansions

The end of your subscription hopefully, but not the game

Have you watched any of the interview? Or read any articles about them?
Most of your “No News on” sections have been discussed in interviews.
I think what they’ve been saying sounds like they’re moving in the right direction. But to your points:

Cookie cutter is fine for High Keys M+, Mythic Raiding or Arena.
But we will have options to play around with other builds. We don’t know yet how viable they will be.
Also this gives them time (multiple expansions) to balance them, rather than getting them to a reasonable state just in time to ditch them.

Talents Trees are a Plus.

Meh, not something I’m caring too much about. I have concerns that the new UI will have subtle colours or details which I’ll find harder to see.

Fingers crosses this will be better or at least not worse.

It’s a new Race and a new Class.
These can be expanded upon in future. Many Drak’thyr will be able to do more classes. Maybe Evokers will be able to be more races.

New race and class is good another Plus.

The zones look pretty good in the videos. Hard to say how good they are until we get into them. They are capable of doing lovely zones when they put their mind to it.
They’ve said this is the biggest continent since Wrath. So I’m hoping they won’t be mazes with high mob density. But even so we get dragon riding from the start.

With what we’ve seen the zone are good and a Plus.

Meh, not something that I’m jumping up and down about but I can see that some people might enjoy these.
I have concerns that they will have some quests the involve landing on cliff ledges or avoiding tornados or similar that involves sharp reflexes, keen eyes and nimble fingers. I just hope that such content is put into side activities for achievements for fun.

At least we get some flying at the start. Let call it a win for now.

Not sure how you can claim this. We know little of how the classes will play with new talent trees and what ever new powers they give us.
Also Talent trees will be easier to balance and enhance as they will remain in the game longer than one patch or even one expansion.

But he has also said there will be no power attached. These will be for cosmetics and perhaps story.
This seems fine to me. Having my alts in different covenants / dragonflights having different stories is a good thing.

Heirlooms have been rubbish for some time, meh. Leveling is reasonably quick these days. Wouldn’t mind the xp bonus back but meh.
For Alts, Ion has confirmed more Account Wide progression on non-gear features such as Dragon riding.

Ion did mention them in one interview but yeah, no changes for now. No worse than we are now.

They’ve confirmed SL is going into Chromie Time and that Exile’s Reach will continue to funnel players in BFA. It seems like SL will just be another expansion to choose from.
They also confirmed that Story Campaigns will be skippable on alts.

They’ve said that this is a cohort of players they’ve served poorly and hope to do better. They see Zereth Mortis as an example of trying to do more for these players with puzzles and exploration and a gearing system for the open world.
ZM may not be perfect but it was better than Maw / Korthia and if it is the direction of travel then we may be getting better world content.
They’ve mentioned that there will be a lot more quests out in the world, side quests rather than mandatory campaign quests. They’ve said these are the largest zones they done for a long time.

Not sure what you’re looking for here. Raiding is raiding and has been since Vanilla. They’ve added various difficulties and raid sizes but otherwise they’re just raids.
Personally I’d like LFR to be less frustrating (queue times, repeated bosses etc.) but meh.

i was tempetd to answer you dear OP. but a classic OP with 0 messsages b4 this thread is just trolling or no courage to give advice with main.
Compliments to tahra and gram for the patience but it doesnt worth it imho.

That doesn’t mean he can’t be right just like every other doomsayer in history.

… wait…

sometimes i was in the noble and just job of the doomsayer… but after NW went to the void im becomin aware that wow will live forever. In 3000 AD we’ll have Warcrat 478: Arthas return expansion.

Sounds like you nee to find a new game to play mate.

WoW just doesn’t sound like it’s for you.

It would do your mental health a lot better if you found something you enjoyed playing, rather than trying to play something you clearly hate every part of.

Enjoy your next game.

You’re kind of a downer, huh?

Depends who it is.

Giggidy.

I’ll stick with wotlk classic as long as it can entertain me. If retail learned it’s lesson I’ll take a look otherwise I’ll wait till Ion was fired

If it kills WoW? So what?

If ir doesn’t ? So what

It’s hardly the end of the world either way

The base edition last time was £34.99. I would expect similar.

That’s bollocks. Have you even seen where they’re headed with it? It looks fine and shows more detail and information than the current one. It’s vastly different, much needed and very welcome.

The ability to move all of it around without needing an addon is fab IMO. And not having to set it up over and over again on alts. Other games have been doing this for years.

They have also said that no major reworks are in store, as well as expressing hesitance to add back pruned abilities like deep freeze. I am jaded after 8 years of crap and the signs aren´t too encouraging. Let´s hope they prove the doubters wrong.

Elvui does this for your alts as well tbh.

No I don’t think so. People did say that in WOtLK to

I feel like one of the bigger issues they have is that most of the servers on retail seem to hardly have any one on them and for most people who are coming back to the game that have high lvl characters they dont want to spend money just so they can join an active guild or have a working ah
