For main plot to be cohesive it either must be completely separated from other storylines thing or have a great amount of effort to connect any previous storylines.
BFA and SL main problem is that they jeopardize everything that was created before, and df is kinda tries to ignore atleast bfa but still mentions it, i don’t shame them for it, i’d try to ignore bfa too
Well my feelings definitely got hurt when MA QUEEN was turned into a… Maw daily spammer. My favorite race of all times was trashed into the ground and their civilization turned into a meme.
We are definitely entitled to slam Blizzard for their poor decisions in storytelling, but hating on pixels solves nothing. The pixels are in the hands of certain folks at Blizz HQ who have no idea what they’re doing.
He is a man with little talent in writing unfortunately, I still don’t understand how he holds his position.
Hard to ignore irreparable damage unfortunately. It will take a good while before people move on from this mess.
The Forsaken were a hard one for Blizzard. They were always on the edge between morally grey and straight up villains. They belonged in the shadows, with their small plots and ocasionally interfere in external politics when the situation called for it.
Had they decided to bring Sylvanas to the forefront then they should have turned her into a Warchief that has the Horde’s best interest in mind. She could have been a ruthless leader, using unorthodox methods to serve the Horde. I would’ve liked that.

It really does seem like they wanna make cross faction gameplay reflected by the lore. A bad decision in my opinion, considering they wanna make the warcraft franchise bigger than just wow

I think going for cross-faction play is a good decision in the long run, faction imbalance (Especially at the higher level of content) is severe.
The part i object to though, is cheapening the Night elves and all they went through by making their city (The city they built in that spot to get away from the Horde) the test bed for it…
It seems like writers are in agreement with me. Oh well

I think it was a situation of everyone being in the same boat if I’m honest. Plus Tauren are the other big druid faction so it makes sense.
I mean, even if the tree wasn’t under threat, I’d assume the Tauren would help regardless.

it’s because nightborne are closest to highborne elves, who are in turn have a really cool lore.
Blood elves have a good lore too, blood elf campaign in wc3 what made me like warcraft elves

I disagree. Firstly: it makes PvP absolute. Why would friends fight friends in anything except arena. Bgs, RBG’S and Wpvp doesn’t make any sense anymore. So they making new BG in TWW is pointless lol. Too little too late.
Faction balance is easy to fix. Either remove all racials from PvP or raids or nerf horde ones. Done.
They could have go with this city neutrality in Midnight with Silvermoon, not on already ridiculed to death Night Elves.
No. They fought for themselves no matter how Blizzard is trying to paint the picture now. If Fyrakk got his hands on Amirdrassil, whole Azeroth will burn, that means horde too. Hence, they fought for themselves.
Bel’Ameth is not druid hub. It is a Night Elf town with all representatives of all classes for as long as they are Night Elfs.
Druids have two hubs already where all are welcomed. Moonglade and Val’sharah.
Most core races have insane lore with some allied races being the same, Though I feel after the nightborn the races have been… some what done for fan service than to actually help the game grow.
Any race that gets screen time now is doomed to become a meme.
At this point we’re all praying Blizzard forgets about us.
