It is confirmed. Bel'ameth is now a neutral "city"

Oh you had that in an Anime also. The Juraian treeships in Tenchi Muyo. They were able to cast light hawk wings as core defense mechanism of the ship. Was an awesome animation like.

Okay, i’ll elaborate: only good wars that we’ve seen were in books or background lore, the closest thing to good war that we had in wow is literally legion period where players atleast felt that they are part of effort against legion, but as i can understand - we aren’t discussing these kinds of war, we are discussing orc zug zugging humie because reasons

That’s the basis of the first war, yeah. Orcs want to kill humans to take their land and make it their own. Doomhammer makes it clear that the only way to survive is to defeat the inhabitants of the world they traveled to. So it really waas about orcs zug-ing humans. The same with the undead, they weren’t waging war cause they wanted a seat at the table or the respect of humans, their objective was simple. Destroy the living. Wars in WoW don’t need to be complicated.

in wc 3 undead were a tactical weapon deployed by legion to weaken eastern kingdoms and prepare the ground for legion’s invasion, they targeted local human and elven kingdoms and summoned archimonde.
In wotlk arthas wanted to make azeroth undead world because he foresaw legion’s invasion and decided that only he is capable of defeating it (chronicles vol 1).
Objectives are lil more complex than that

thank you lmao, its a video game why are we getting so attached to something so fictional

Nothing complex about it. Weakening of the human kingdomes = kill the living. Undead world = kill the living.

Most abandoned. In ashenvale there is not a single stand left standing.

The gnomes are at their best moment since wow. They have found a new Gnomic society, much more advanced, they have Mechagon as their new capital, their own island, and Gelbin as king of gnomicity.

Who even cares at this point about Night Elves. Like what, you guys had so much revamps and story focusing on your race and your bull****t. Think of real neglected race, yet people who play it are just neutral to being neglected , or barely care because truly the OP race of all time, patiently waiting and marinating, Blood Elves, you wish you were a blood elf, but instead you are a tiny whiny little baby dark elf lol.

this is like the only classic era race that hasn’t had an asset revamp or update. It’s shocking. Even much neglected, or formerly much neglected night elves got one in 7.0… Draenei have had 2 major outings since their intro in 2.0 - first they got their full update in WoD with updated art assets, then got a fitting final chapter in Legion - (although we all feel it should have been its own expansion - instead of BflatA)

But blood elves, high elves, void elves - Thalassian elves, Quel’thalas, a huge fan favourite , a wonder of the first wow expansion, left to wait idly by having to leech off night elves through Suramar, still without their update, and void elves even more pathetic, the only sub-race to be introduced without a zone to quest concerning them, they seemed almost like an afterthought.

And don’t even get me started on Void Elves , cheap knockoff from Aliexpress in the way they were introduced and utilised without any of their TRUE potential revealed. Hopefully it will change in coming expansion, but at the moment their existence and how they are perceived in the game is just

The reason why they’re so angry and are having a temper tantrum is because of the handling of Bel’ameth and the tree itself. I can even agree with some of their points. The problem is that they delivered it in a way that makes them look like spoilt two-year-olds.

We even exposed Elme for mass lies, and she just ignored what I said and blocked me.

Since when is the tree property of the night elves though? At most they worshipped it. It’s not the tree worshipping them. The tree is what it is, because the aspects blessed it. The Nature inclined races of the horde are also druids

The more I read about the irrational anger, the more I realise how druids are and have been cross faction since vanilla wow with moonglade.

I still want more faction conflict though in the lore, but this fixation on bel’ameth is misplaced. Look first what Blizzard is gonna cook with those ships there, which are probably gonna sail to night elf villages

Also: This debuff indiciates “you are being watched”, i.e. the defenders of the tree, the night elves, are watching what you do and you gotta be careful. Very elegant solution.

It is literally made of dead night elf souls. Did you sleep on the story or what? It was exclusively and explicitly created for Kaldorei from Kaldorei by the Kaldorei leader with help of Elune and the Winter Queen to be a new beginning for Kaldorei. Not orcs, undead, gobblins or blood elves. The tree being neutral most likely also just was implemented because horde players would’ve been trolling the place with frequent attacks otherwise. The constant “burn it” quotes in the forums did hint so anyways. A simple thunder struck for any hordie trying some stupid move would’ve done the trick though. Worked in the eternal palace if players tried to emote nonsense at Aszhara, would’ve worked with horde players trying to enter the isle also. We still have similar restrictions in Dalaran anyways. Not your quarter. Simple as that.

Pretty cold in Germany too right now. Still better than sumner heat though. :joy:

Oh come on. Who else would live in a tree? Belfs? The orcs? It’s their gimmick. Even if they like it or not. They are the tree elves.

And what the hell would we as horde be doing in a city that has obviously been created by and for tree elves. Makes no sense.

What are Loa for the trolls? Forgot the Tauren already? What do powers you think the orcs used before the fel corruption by gul’dan? Spirit / Nature (as hunters), their titanic strength. Azeroth being their home now means that they will respect this tree. The thing with sylvanas was the jailers doing. Even tyrande understands it.

Would say the importance of the world tree goes beyond factions, but it’s okay that the night elves are their primary defenders. However, the night elves seem to forgive easier than their fanbase.

It’s not like we were in the maw rescueing their souls and are the reason that the tree even got planted in the story.

In Zandalar?

Lol yeah. That’s why she sentenced her to eternal maw quests and told her directly to the face that there will be no peace in a cinematic. Oh dear. The neglect is strong with this one. Tell you what. Sacrifice a majority of blood elves to empower the tree and you’ll be welcome to act as if this tree was yours as much as it is the Kaldorei’s without anyone complaining.

I would have personally liked to ally with the Primalists in the game, not with the tree

Which ones? The ones led exclusively by Fyrakk? Because if that’s the case lol no

The incarnates before fyrakk went full shadowflame, but wouldn’t have worked gameplay wise

the solution is to purge horde bias from game  buff night elves, buff gnomes , earthen dwarves shouldnt be an allied race in new expac…

Well, after 20 years of horde bias, I would agree with this statement

But none of this have any ties to the topic I created
