It is confirmed. Bel'ameth is now a neutral "city"

Yes, and aren’t this sabotaging faction conflict and faction differences?
Would you be happy with faction war expansion where both factions can easily prog together dungeons and raids?

That’s already happening. An no it’s not sabotaging anything. You group with people from both factions ooc, that does not mean in the story you become buddies. You are still enemies.

no? fourth war has ended, all we have is local conflict in ashenvale to justify bgs

Yeah you were supposed to brutally murder each other but instead you heal and protect each other while working as a team.
And it happens in every dungeon and raid. Sounds sane and reasonable

No, we are talking about two different things. Blizzard allows grouping cross faction so people can play with their buddies like you people claim you want so you’d destroy factions. Blizzard gave you the option to play every aspect of the game with your buddies from across factions and to keep the traditional faction conflict alive. Then you come here telling me it makes more sense for the factions to be essentially removed become some pointless symbols. The factions aren’t being removed, nor will the conflict otherwise Blizzard would have done that straight up.

I want to vicously destroy burger right now, not factions. I never said that i want factions to be gone in wow, it won’t be done until new installment and not needed to, but faction wars without proper setup are farce.

Don’t worry, the already removed conflict until they’ll want to introduce new alliance vs horde war again, and it certanily won’t be in worldsoul saga, so until 2030

No they haven’t. There simply is no open war. The conflict is still there.

Thats hardly a factor, as a faction conflict enjoyer the ability to crossfaction was something that was great for the game and has been needed for a long time for the reasons you listed and some more even
Only the goofiest of the goofy would correlate the narrative of the faction conflict to have been a reason why the game mechanic of cross faction wasn’t added sooner

But it is?
in ye olden times the reason why alliance and horde players couldn’t log into pve content together was because they were supposed to be enemies in different factions, name more reasonable argumentation

Yeah I’d say it is, because while it’s fun to chant and meme along with my group good your group bad, very few people take it outside of the actual game and the ones that do we just refer them to the RP forum

I’d sooner say that the reason in ye olden times was moreso that it wasn’t neccesary, so why not play into the faction divide that the game was marketed with? I have no doubt that if faction imbalance was a problem from the start, we would’ve had crossfaction a lot sooner.

If you ask me Blizzard even let it get to far.

What did you expect blizzard lost the war but instead made the game
in to this

Contrary to most opinions, i really like that Bel’ameth is going to be neutral and im looking forward to whats next, whatever that is. Sure i havent liked some changes in the past (as with any game, movie, book etc), but why would it stop anyone from enjoying something or quit? Blizzard is doing a great job!

This actually sounds good. Allows AD players to cross faction visit and possible RP

Elme probably won’t respond anymore for the next 25 years if the information I got is true. But the association with that song is painfully correct.

Its just girls girls were is the boys at lol Kadghar was like there for 2 seconds then he disappeared never to be seen until 2 seconds before next expack-

To be fair Tyrande is a huge reason why this happened. The first thing she said to the nightborne was “we can’t trust you because of your history and you hid in a bubble city for thousands of years”. She offered no compassion for the impossible situation they found themselves in.

Yeah, Tyrande did that with the nightborne while Lor’themar did that with Alleria(and the void elves). I assume that with how they try to do stories for both factions at the same time(so like the way darnassus and undercity fell at the same time and amirdrassil and lordaeron are growing at the same time too. And no, i don’t like the way it works but that’s how they’re doing it), they’ll likely do something like it now for either Lorthemar or another such leader on the horde side for whatever is the next capital we next help rebuild(Likely Lordaeron)

This has become a reoccurring pattern. I call it the “least favourite doll syndrome”. It started with Baine during SL sitting at Oribos like glued to the floor. Then you had Bolvar and Taelia taking expansion long standing ovations in the same room. Then you have Ara’lon from the the Ardenweald cinematic, who mainly had his spotlight while dying off towards the end. And let’s just not talk about Arthas…

In Dragonflight, this shove in character and then forget about them continues. Where did the primalists come from, where did they vanish to during S2 and how did they return in S3? No idea. Where did Decatriarch Wratheye vanish to after we defeated her in Brackenhide Hollow? No idea. What was Raszageth all about with Vakthros? No idea. Why did Ysera come back in exchange for Malfurion when she objectively didn’t do anything and why is Malfurion still on “de otherside” when she already returned? No idea. Kadghar, hello bye, what you’re up to? No idea. Loose ends. Loose ends everywhere.

A situation they got themselves into though. Trust isn’t simply given. It is earned. And Nightborne of course proved Tyrande right in her distrust by literally flirting with the enemy five seconds afterwards, I mean. Can’t be much of loyalty behind such an opportunistic character. The Shen’dralar were also not trusted for a long time due to them having been Aszhara loyalists but accepted into Night Elf society eventually. Is just natural that if you’re friends with a narcissistic world destroyer, people will probably not jump into your arms with their trust. The least thing you could do is prove your trustworthy. Which Nightborne had no will nor patience to do.

Well, they might have gotten a lot back on track feature-wise, but I guess story-wise, we’ll have to wait some more before that happens. Before Metzen mops out the trash, so to speak.

This could lead to a bad situation so alli or horde can visit each other cities and this would be really bad.

Or put a small story that horde try to do something bad and ban them from the new city
