A friend of mine deleted his lv25 horde pj to join the alliance with the group of friends, and now it won’t let him create a character because it says he doesn’t have any created on the server. If he tries to recover the deleted character he gets an error… now he can’t create anything in Living Flame… Why if he had a character already created on the server, he can’t create another one? I really can’t see the logic behind this… you can understand how happy my friend is with Blizzard…
What do you want Blizzard to do? Restore his lvl 25 Horde character? Because clearly he wouldn’t get to create Alliance character in the first place. Maybe they should had started on PvE, where no faction limits exist?
Excuse me, do you know that in wow there is a button that says recover character? If there is that button it must work, right? That he can’t go to the alliance, ok, but now he can’t even recover his character? I think it’s a real shame really…
And do you know how that technically works? You delete your character from the realm and create new identical one from a temporary database if you want to resote one. It is similar to transfers, your character is deleted on one realm and his/her clone is created on another. Maybe Blizzard should had added notice that upon deletion of last character you won’t be able to create character on full realm…
