It is time to remove factions

every one should be able to q together horde and alliance there is no point separate the player base ally LFG is dead horde start to dwindle too if we both were one. the game will have chance to last few more years…

Atleast for arenas they should

And also remove that awful faction specific r1 cutoff

more people come horde by the day they need to do something like

Nope .dont want to play with hordie bois or gals

Honestly, I’d welcome that. I’d love to play as a worgen, but I don’t want to abandon my guild and friends on the Horde.

tbh today there is no single reason anymore to not merge alliance horde arena queues. would maybe alleviate the arduous LFG situation a bit as well.

While they’re very unlikely to mess with the core design of the game’s story with horde vs. alliance, the mercenary buff is already in there as a set precedent which means they could just expand that future as suggested above (that link contains some other improvements that could be done as well).

(or, well, iirc then horde wasn’t supposed to be at war with the alliance, but a dev for vanilla kinda pushed 'em into it and it’s such a core part of the game now that it’s very unlikely to ever disappear, but mercenary mode is already messing with that “wall” so it’s plausible from a player psychological perspective to just expand that future further to rated as well)

Is the LFG really that much better on horde?

Nope. Don’t play WoW if you don’t like the faction divide. Stop asking to change the fundamentals.

not sure but merging two lfgs can logically only result in a better experience.

not sure what you’re on about Sir Ivarborne, horde is already fighting horde in bgs and u play with disguised horde players, doesn’t seem to have ended your wow experience now does it?

He’s probably referring to the hypothetical if they’d remove that “wall” entirely, and just have alliance queue with horde as is and vice versa.
Which is what the whole concept of “mercenary mode” mitigates, it still leaves up that “illusion” of a faction wall, but it’d enable queuing up with people from the opposite faction, as explained in that link.

Along with some other improvements to the group finder, as also mentioned in that link.
