Then I guess you do not remember how many people would just chain quit after patch 9.1. That patch release was one of the worst experience people had (release of korthia), with just mindless grind, being spec locked, and having one of the worst raid systems ever (gems of domination).
The lawsuit had it’s impact on some players that were on the verge, but most of the players were just fed up with the bad game design.
To be fair patch 3 was a pretty big improvement. The covenants being open to all the players, the new area, and the raid design (after the initial nerfs that addressed the difficulty) was pretty well received.
It was not visions of N Zoth, but it was a pretty well received patch compared to the rest.
Screw lore meaningful choice. Anything for 1% more damage. I agree covenants couldve been better but that would be having the power seperate. Not making the choice “open”bt effectively still forced to be kyrian
I feel raid difficulty is fine. Yes there were bosses that were punishing when you mess up but that’s not a bad thing. Queen was a needlessly punishing. Was unfun imo but sl was fine for the most part
Hard disagree. It’s the best expansion since Legion, and there are certainly some earlier ones which were worse.
Yes, M+ is pretty borked and unappealing with this dungeon pool, but to suggest a few (typically iterative, repetitive, ladder grinding) dungeons makes or breaks an expansion is… quite a take.
Dragonflight was worse and that is my opinion you do not have to agree, i could not even play it i kept crashing and i gave up trying to play it, only for it to be fixed 2 months before The War Within release, 200+ euros wasted on a game i could not play for 2 years still waiting for compensation that probably will never come.
No I would say it was quality. From the god awful zones, to the dog awful systems and lets not forget the god awful story. The Cosby fiasco and the “devs knowing better” certainly didn’t help it but the expansion was garbage on it’s own merits.
It was considered bad and people were leaving long before the lawsuit and the dev layoffs. The RL stuff was just what broke the camels back.
I played a lot of WoD honestly, what content we had was fun.
What I hated the most was the fact that Garrison killed professions and inflated the gold with the shipyard missions.
Atmosphere wise, gameplay, class design, raids, they were all really good. Not to mention that it’s the expansion that got a good boost in graphics.
I had a zillion alts in WoD because the questing and zones were just so beautiful.
For people consuming content at a fast pace it was a weak expansion. I enjoyed being a casual scrub.
The endless systems killed Shadowlands for me. Mandatory grinds for everything, friggin Torghast, the most depressing place in this game and lots of unbalanced borrowed power.
I couldn’t do it anymore after the first season.
The dungeons and Nathria were good and I also liked the zones and quests which I know is not a popular opinion.
Can’t speak about the last patches as I didn’t stick around, but I still enjoy revisiting Shadowlands dungeons when I do M+, so some things it did right.
Its the tone of reply used that makes it sassy. Youve literally come on the forums to complain and put down the game which is toxic, ehen suggested you new things your reeling off a list as if its a book it list.
The fact here is if you dont want to play wow then dont, nobody will care if you decide to walk away thats your perogative.
I do accept ppl hqve different veiws to me what i dont accept is when punks mouthoff at me.
Hate on wow a you like i feally dont care but you need to get out of my face with your attitude.
Im not gnna bother replying to you anymore your looking for a fight.
The forum has too many rules of do’s and dont’s for me to really tell you what i think so im just gnna reduce my daily intake of toxins by whacking ur srry self on ignore
WoD: got garrison, stayed in it, raid logged. At least there were 5 nights per week for other activities.
BfA: infinite power grind, never able to say you’d finished for the week. Constantly feeling guilty about not being logged in.
TWW: even long-time tanks and healers refuse to tank or heal. Dps are having a great time, as long as they have a tank+healer friend.
I enjoyed DF S2 and S3 while they were current… S4 was ‘fine’ but I’d done everything and was bored of it by then.
When m+ is your main content, bad changes kill any enjoyment. If m+ was good this season id be playing way more. However i dont think ive done a key in the last month
