S1 can be compared to S1 of bfa where game was kinda garbage
but it’s not even close to being bad as WOD or Shadowlands…
BFA was same expansion content wise as was legion or dragonflight

It’s hated badly cos of rl events and content drought not actual quality. It’s middle of the pack otherwise. Mythic plus at least was miles better in sl. war within has mythic plus in its worst place ever. Tho season 2 is halfway to fixing the issue

Havent played all xpacks.
But i do not play tww anymore.
Playing as fury warrior getting nerfed to the ground, not much to do in the world, mythic mechanics being annoying or making people leave half dungeons.
Just make it not fun anymore.
Yes i had great time soloing delves at the begining of the xpack, was fun to do heroic dungeons farming gear before mythic.
Even doing heroic raid pugs the first weeks when people were lessed geared and you progressed through it was fun.
Brd raid was fine, but no point doing more the once to check it out.
Sad to say also that i probably wont come back to s2. The new mythic dungeons announced just pushing me away😅
The opposite was true. SL came after visions of NZoth which was one of the best patches ever, and RL events could not favor it more.
Problem with SL is that until patch 9.1.5 the design was awful and developers forced players to have their characters “locked” behind covenant choices that limited what content they could do. Generally it was one of the worst designed expansion starts. It only became better when they pulled the ripcord and did what the players asked for.
As for m+ it depends on what key level you do. For low keys it might be the worst, but for weekly +10s it is pretty fun. The dungeons are pretty nice/interesting and balance is not that bad (for that level).
Yes, they announced that they want to limit certain functionalities of addons to target raid fight mechanics. Those are surgical changes to target clunky addon setup and mechanics that need those. WAs, elvui, and dbm won’t go anywhere.
Done that. Haven’t been on retail for the last 7 weeks. Been playing classic HC. Once I hit 60 or die, then that’s it. I am done with WoW for the foreseeable future. I think this xpac started well, but the ‘honeymoon’ period ended with season one.
Next patch is going to suck with the reintroduction of Blunderstorm. Player housing is just going to be a store fest.
Too much gating, too much FOMO. The way we gear is boring. The xpac is boring.

Patch 1 fine except Covenant System and its switching requirements and cooldown on changing covenant “talents/relics” (forgot the name) despite being told so since alpha. S1 Seasonal affix being absolute junk causing prideful to brick the key if failing the buff due to how the routes worked. Also the Maw.
Patch 2 Korthia being absolutely horrible, sylvanas gem acquisition being borderline stupid as well as tuning with said stones causing a lot of people to get screwed acquisition wise, korthia being a chore for max rank to get the socket item. Raid being next level horrible and being nicknamed “Sanctum of hold DPS” with KT completely taking the piss.
Patch 3 A raid designed after Echo and Limit as confirmed by Ion and that being felt across all difficulties. If you design a raid after 2 guilds who do this for a living then you deserve every flame humanly possible, period (not to mention that Limit forfeit the race).
Covenant power also being an absolute mess throughout the expansion forcing people into specific ones as the power difference could go up to 30% or more as was the case with Druids, mages and Windwalkers despite people asking for covenants to be cosmetically only.
There is more reasons than the lawsuit, devs being fired or them being breastmilk thieves.
I will ignore dungeons outside of S1 as I didnt do many outside of what I had to do but I have heard plenty of complains even back then.

Ok Obv your done with wow, but honestly being smarmy on the forums regarding how you feel when your on the outs anyway looks and feels like you want to pick a fight, its also baseline toxicity at its finest.
Nobody needs toxicity in their life i know i don’t so consider this conversation over.

I have cleared them and I havent said they were hard except for the last one (which was admitted to be a massive mistake by Ion as well). If you have nothing of value to say I’d suggest silence. There were more reasons than the one you listed, end of discussion.

I don’t mind the expansion but it feels the same as dragonflight with just a different look.

I can’t even bring myself this time to finish all the zone quests on a single character…. Just boring, same old quests and they never end.

Too many spells and abilities and the same meta rubbish. Pick the wrong class and spec and you are left out of everything… boring
Even the new Island zone, not even sure what the damn place is called is boring after doing it just once.
We all complain but we all still play. Let’s see what comes next
