Such a simple solution could solve this problem. Just make it impossible to leave. If someone alt-F4s their character will remain and it’s as if they’re afk.
So they’re then perma-afk, just as good as a leaver. Nothing changes, you’re still one player down. I don’t see what this solves?
I think it can be pointed out towards the issue where ppl wont get any conquest. Not entirely sure how rating/mmr is calculated fully with leavers.
But it would prevent some people who loves to leave after 5 rounds to troll the rest.
Dont personally feel it would fix anything from the early leavers though.

currently as everyone get points for rounds they win its also worse to leave than sit one through, leaver gets more - than staying to end even as afk he loses way less than if he leaves, but if they dont care then its different story
in the end trying force people stay for 6 round shuffle type format is pretty dumb idea to begin with, i would never designed solo with this type of design. firstly nobody wants to be stuck for longer if they get tilt so they will start play worse, secondly it opens door for griefing and thirdly the design is unfair for healers
some runs his mouth or just generally annoying guy you know, now there is no ammount of incentive in world that would make everyone give their best or even care play games with them for 3 rounds in same team so either they make them gain nothing or theyre done with the lobby, simple as that, its a game and nothing can force them to play as team with ppl that they hate
when people play 1 round and leave, the whole team suffers,
AFKing for 6 rounds gives the other players a chance to earn more rounds more conquest and more CR
that why Leaving a game is worse
It depends. If a person leaves after 1 round its quite easily going to end up everyone going 3-3 which usually results in 0 mmr. Just not sure if thats what the game already decides if someone leaves so early.
The conquest is basically the only thing youll get out of it (most likely).
One issue is people leaving, but the bigger issue is blizz not punishing the leavers correctly. So theres quite alot of them who dont care and also alot who do it to troll other people because they are bad themselves.
Some people just cant deal with being bad and want to ruin it for others. 
an example
i lost 2 rounds with the leaver, the leaver then leaves on the 3rd round,
had he stayed AFK i would of gone 4-2 which would of netted a +CR / MMR
but because he left after 2 rounds being in my team i lost MMR and CR
because i didnt get the chance to win the other 4 games
and as a dps you then go into a 20minute queue again at a lower rank

This would be terrible. This guarantees that one of the healers is screwed by default when it isn’t their fault. Because usually people leave after at least one loss, but sometimes leave after more.
So if the leaver guy won a game then lost 2-3 in a row and decided to leave, some healer would get 0 chance at at least going even. It’s already sort of like that if someone leaves right now, but not on the scale of 6 rounds being completed
Ah yea, I think everyone would get a free 4-2.
And just hope the CR/MMR system was with you that game.
But in the end, its hard to justify a character stay “afk” for 4-5 more rounds then.
What if the healer is the one that left?
a leaver should always net you result in a +0 gain and loss
the leaver should always lose 200 rating
at the moment it doesnt work like that, so you can be cheated out of points
Kinda why in my own opinion, if someone leaves after 1-3 rounds, depending if you would be able to get 3-3 with the remaining rounds or not, people should get, like you said, atleast +0 in both cr/mmr but atleast get conquest.
Its just a joke that healers can get 3-3 and get -mmr.
I personally dont feel that ppl should get anything “free” because someone left too early. But thats just personal opinion ^^
Just calculate the conquest gain based on rounds won and the issue is solved. Also, way better for lower geared newer players, so they get at least something, if they go 1/6
simplest solution for leaving that no one has mentioned yet is to make soloq 1 round like on priva
nothing to leave after the round is done its over, ppl will complain of something always anyway but the solution that fixes all problems related healers and people leaving before 6 rounds of shuffle is completed is to make it 1 round soloq of 3v3 with real arenas rules just like in priva
i would also put this into regular arena bracket but ill leave every psycho without anybody to play with or willing to find friends in a mmo to debate about the matter of fairness of it or not, i wont comment related that other than that its mmo and the end game is supposed to be played as team and coordinated instead only as soloq/lfr, those are only the stepping stones to the end game, like practise wheels from where you progress from into the real end game of mmo which is to play as team and find ppl to play with and build connections you coordinate the end game with
And what do we do with people trolling in solo shuffle like Alythena? Just had a game with him, he was healer. All 3 games with me he was AFK. All 3 games against me he actually played. I think everyone in the game reported him, but that’s not enough, cause everyone just wasted 30mins in queue, wasted 6 games and we lost rating due to a troll.
There should be a system where if 3-4 ppl in a solo shuffle report you as trolling / afk the game should end, nobody get’s anything the person reported by 4 ppl should be treated as a leaver or something.

your exp is combatant for 1 season before df shuffles and then you have “gained” duelist by grinding it on one of the most broken dpses in df as balance druid with 650 rounds and now you are dropping
have you stop to think that maybe the problem is on you, and by going negative in games is on you likewise if your gameplay is do nothing else than sit on heals for 6 rounds as feral lol, everyone just laughed at the some feral doing nothing but sit on healers lol
just another delusional example of shuffles for their self worth, mate i took 2 healers 2.1 with 70% and 70 rounds, other i took to 2.2 with 62% 95 rounds and these are from arena and not from your joke shuffle which you seem fail even as broken dps it seems and we all know the reason for that, and it aint anyone else than the one in your mirror

This is not about my rating, it’s about you being a troll that should get banned. Hopefully Blizzard will do something about trolls like you, but I highly doubt that…

i dont really care what people do on this joke mode or on their placement games with no clue of arenas, someone will eventually die after round is prolonged long enough for dampen anyway, i dont know buddy, if you go negative in shuffle and ppl laugh at you not having a clue tho maybe you shouldnt go forum blame someone else for it

for example i took 2.4 with 94 or something on warlock in shuffles, and current season i took 2x 2.1 with 70% ~70 round and 2.2 with 95 round in arenas on rsham and rdruid
while you are barely grinding your first duelists with these 700 played on broken classes in shuffles as dps

The difference between you and me is I play solo shuffle for fun, that’s why I run meme builds like Convoke to kill bad healers like you. For you solo shuffle is your life and as soon as you lose a game you go rage mode and decide to troll everyone. Sad life you must have to take solo shuffle so seriously and think trolling 5 ppl is a good way to react to someone killing you two games in a row.
