I actually don’t mind it with a friend, but it’s real sketchy with warmode on…if you are solo, some of the mobs are super strong and depending on class might be annoying for you
It’s boring alone, but it’s great content if you sit in voice with friends, playing with them and talk about nonsense in the meantime
Unless the message says “You are going to be bored out of your will to exist” it wasn’t a proper warning. Everyone is complaining Threads of Fate is boring. There’s objectively no excuse to keep a boring system boring because an insecure level 25 dwarf needs to boost his ego on the forums.
Threads of Fate needs to be interesting or there should be an option to start the SL campaign and of course - both would be ideal.

Chose shammy because it requires skill mate.
Its fast. Just spamming dungeon and doin quests. Ive done 3\4 of the zones you need to quest in and running dungeon. isnt that bad

I just wish you would get all flight path’s when picking threads of fate.

I did the campaign on my main and liked it.
I selected thread of fate on two or three rerolls already and like it as well.
So it is indeed a question of preference.
While you can’t do anything for your first reroll, îm sure this is not the last one you are making and you can do the campaign again for them.
Yeah, now I don’t want the character I chose to try it out on. It just takes too long filling those bars, I’d rather it take the same time but have faster things to complete to feel like I’m actually going somewhere.
I think unless you do dungeons, doing campaign is faster to level and then you just choose threads of fate just before you ding 60 to avoid having to do the entire campaign.
Suggestion: Before you’re allowed to pick Threads of Fate, you have to have a talk with this guy.

I for one, agree, The Threads of Fate leveling either needs a revamp, a change, or it needs an option to go back to the campaign. It took me ½ a day to level through the campaign on my second toon. On several other alts, I selected the Threads of Fate option, and I am literally bored out of my skull on those toons… Why? Cause the content you do to level up, is the same content you do at max level: World quests, Bonus objectives, Dungeon spam and the like.
I literally havent been able to reach max level yet on a toon where I’ve selected Threads of Fate, cause every time I log in on one of those toons, I instantly get filled with regret and log back out. It’s horrible. There’s no incentive for me to even try leveling those toons.
No it does not need a change or a revamp.
Used ToF on all my alts I leveled up, end enjoyed the freedom it gave me.
I was expecting 100% of what I had to do with ToF, as stated in the description itself doing secondary quests, wq, dungeons etc…
If you do hate to level up with those things, because “you do them at max level” care to explain to me why you thought it was a good idea to choose ToF on several alts!?
Maybe level 1 and see how it is before selecting ToF on 47478448 alts and then regretting it.
Oh yeah because doing the story line it is so different and full of incentives.
But again, if you did not know if you like a PERMANENT choice, care to explain the need to rush and select it on several alts?
I think the reason why it’s not something you can cancel easily, is because you’re “transferred” forwards several planes in terms of phasing. A lot of phases are changed so you see them as you would on “end game”. And due to how the phasing tech works, it’s easier to move it forward than reversing it.
That’s just my assessment on it. I agree it should be cancelled, but I think there might be a good reason behind it. I do regret my Fate as well, I thought it would be akin to FF14 and levelling new jobs there, but it’s a more dreadfully boring experience in WoW, so I won’t ever be going that again once I get this druid up to 60.
Honestly I see zero reasons why we cant cancel it. The threads of fate dont have access to the main story line, so there is nothing that would stop you from just scrapping all you did (side quests basically) and allow you to follow the main story line.
Because I was an idiot who listened to others saying how great it was, and then when I tried it myself, it turned out to be… Lets just say: NOT for me.
I apparently much prefer the, what some call cookie cutter, storyline, in which you follow a linear progression through the world.
