I have had a primal infused chest for a while now (on my alt) and it still cant be upgraded to tier piece at catalyst.

Primal infused meaning that it’s crafted? If so, nothing to fix. Crafted gear can not be used for the catalyst.
“Crafted gear won’t be able to convert into set pieces using the Creation Catalyst, though this is on purpose due to the recrafting system allowing you to change the secondaries and quality of crafted gear, as well as upgrade the item level.”
Its not crafted.
Why is everyone saying that to me. Its the epic gear you can get from doing the elemental invasion things. You get currency and buy 359ilvl item that you can then upgrade with other weekly currency to upgrade to epic item of level 385ilvl. They are the primal infused gear.
ANy other character I have, with every other item I have made this way has been possible to upgarade to tier item EXCEPT chest on my priest alt. In fact, I’m intending to waste my stuff to buy another and see if the current chest is just bugged.
Because a Primal Infusion https://www.wowhead.com/item=197921/primal-infusion#reagent-for is an important crafting reagent used in making high item level gear. When you tell people in game that you have a primal infusion, that’s the item that people will recognize.
Your individual chest might just be bugged. Write a ticket.
It seems its the cloth chests. At least wowhead comment say so. Priest, warlocks and mages have reported it.
Edit: And I sent a bug report about it two weeks ago I think.
