As time goes on, people are stopping doing TOGC25 HC, and for some people, trinkets are other items are still BIS. It would be beneficial if we could farm Defiler’s Scourgestones to upgrade a Normal Item from Trial to the normal version. This will even push the RFD as more people would be interested in doing them, and not all the GDKPS that are for TOGC

If I understood you correctly you want a ToC25 gear to be further upgraded by Scourge stones from ilvl 245 to 258?
Well To(g)C 10/25 is a pretty short raid from 40 minutes to 1,5h for best and worst PUG groups respectively. At least ToGC 25 offers you some raid environment to prepare you for ICC. You are suggesting just skipping it and ICC 10 normal as full 258 gear would allow easy entry to ICC 10 HM or ICC 25 normal, brining quality of raider preparation to “just from facepalm Gammas” level. What next LFR? Oh wait…
I would like to say it would be bad for the game because the strongest items shouldn’t be guaranteed by farming easy dungeons. But at this point, when all original WotLK integrity is out of the window anyway, who cares? It is almost over; let people farm their BIS so they can fulfill their dream. It began to be Wacraft Lunapark anyway.
If you ask for 50 to 60 defiler’s scourgestone to upgrade one item from normal to heroic, the farm you have to do to upgrade all items would be extremely insane. If you do ICC10/25 and TOC10/25 HC, you are pretty much done during the week, this would give more things to do to many people

Making bis gear obtainable by only doing easy dungeons isn’t good idea, but blizzard can for example add 1-2 “Upgrade Tokens” from ToGC-25 tribute with 100% drop rate to upgrade any 245 normal item to 258 heroic, so people can get their BiS trinckets with less competition at this point.
Imo something like that should cost emblems of frost, not defiler’s scourgestones.
Yes, let’s just invalidate ICC10. Give out all the 258 gear, why even do icc10hc or icc25 normal?
Just farm dungeons until you’re full 258.
Imagine getting all these handouts, being able to catch up to 5k+ gearscore by doing 0 raids, and then complaining and wanting even more.

I somehow doubt that you care about “many people”, you just want your bis DV. Just make your own togc 4/5 heroic pugs and lock it, shouldnt be a big deal on gehennas.
5,3K GS actually in full 245 gear +2 239 ilvl pieces and one 252. Checked on an alt mixing gear from 2 specs. Makes you wonder why all ICC 10 PUGs have 5,3K GS set as minimal entry gear.
With 258 gear added the minimal GS to enter phase 4 raiding would be raised to 5,6K and ICC 10 normal would die off ruining many small guilds.
