Itemlevel give no info in late patch

Hello fellow friends,

In late patch everyone have 440+, even noobs and its hard to know if they are decent or not when it come to dps.

When I do my own hc pugs I sometimes invite a 445 ilevel who has the dps of someone who is 425 ilevel.

My counter to this is a method called “efficient downscaling”.

I start the raid with 2/5/18

Then after the first boss you always remove the 2 lowest dps.

After the second boss you remove the 2 lowest dps again + the lowest healer combind on the 2 bosses.

Continue the run 2-4-14.

What methods do you use to counter this problem late patch?

I get mah curve while there was still people playing

And we never go more than 20 peeps, dunno if that helps

1 - Install raider.io
2 - Use common sense when inviting people based on the info rio gives me

Actually I would say that average ilvl is way closer to 400 - 415…if you take all 120 chars…
I’ve played with 410 guys who have been fantastic…
ilvl is only part of info…there is reader io but the pug world is always a risk

Good guilds can make all the difference

People like you should burn in hell

How do you do that when in your other thread you said you join other raids so you are free to leave if nobody has the item you want? You start a vote and everyone listens? Yeah right.

The whole “giving advice whilst being dickish” act wears thin pretty quickly and loses comedy value when you overdo it you know.

It’'s good to know you are one of those tyrannical heroic pug leaders. You probably have the caps lock permanently activated as well.

What kind of person is this proud of their degenerate way of treating others? On New Years Eve even.

But to answer your question I usually Just sit back, invite a few guildies and friends and fill in the spots using raider io. We then clear the raid within an hour.

Don’t PuG, because there’s always a **** like the OP in it.

People like him are the Maine reason why wow lost so many mln players

Nah, I think you should keep removing DPS and healers (heck, why not even remove the tank who taunts less often?) all the way through the raid. Sudden death raiding. At the end, you can face the final boss alone (or with a select few who meet your expectations) and show the world how truly elite you are. I mean, being in the raid by yourself is the only way to guarantee that there’s no one incompetent there, right?

Why? Because he doesn’t want to carry bad players?

Have you missed the OP’s other topics? Trolling doesn’t begin to describe it.

Someone that dies in the first minute of the fight is trash. High itemlevel or not? You don’t die that quickly. No excuses.

What irritates me is that he suggests always removing the two lowest DPS, regardless of their performance.
Even if everybody plays like a young god, someone has to be lowest… so he would also remove players who did all mechanics right and pulled sufficient / good DPS.

That sounds a bit stupid to me, but then again, I don’t raid, so I don’t care.
