I have a dream, I want to summon a companion and for them to be forever by my side no matter where I go, why is it so hard?
I am aware of outdated addons like petleash and nugminipet, but what they do is bind “w” (usually move forward) to summoning a pet, that can be annoying sometimes as it triggers a global CD.
Been like it for years. If I use the flight master the pet will be there when I arrive. But if I use my own flying mount and dismount the pet is not active. This is due to a change they made making pets vanish from the ground when you use your mount. Time was you could swoop down and see your beloved silver tabby running over mountains, through lakes and even passing through buildings. I’ve been moaning about it for years.
Sadly its like the archaelogical digs on the edge of Wetlands that are all underground, or the signpost in Arathi that is ten feet above the ground. Stuff like this just aint important so they just ignore it. Also since the launch of this expansion my mounted character now sits in amongst the bottom action bars . They have obviously lowered the position on screen to take into account dragons… I guess. Still very annoying.
PS I have never used an addon in all the years I have been playing so its nothing to do with that.
It really makes me sad, I have a huge collection of pets that I’d like to use, but this system is so bad.
