It feels good to grind gear through PvP and feel your character becoming more powerful vs your opponents in PvP.
I’ve said before, the WoD gearing and catch up system was the best one we’ve had. There’s zero reason they can’t re-implement it other than current devs having massive epeen problems, which they doubtlessly do.
It was done better in the past, class design definitely was, I think they hate this.
Break the wheel and try re-designing it, failing at every corner (pun), and wondering why the player base is annoyed at them.
PvP is about learning your class through and through, and learning to outplay your opponents, like a game of chess, the gearing process gives a sense of progression but it’s not important, we all end up at the same item level in the end, or at least, we used to, and then it’s on, you learn the skill ceiling of your class and go mad for it.
I don’t know who took over the designs post WoD, and even for some classes before that, (a lot of my PvP friends quit in WoD because of the pruning), but whoever they are is bad for this game.
Its just hard to take it serious, especially when some classes are just so op and on the top of that we have corruptions too now. Imo wotlk was the last good expansion for pvp.
the problem with BFA is just every class feels the same for the most part so you just play the better version for that situation.
Nope wotlk was legendary carrie
