Classic never was hard. We just had bad connection and bad pcs and on top off that less online guides.
Now your used to retail or whatever the last modern version you played was and its mire demanding.
Classic is awesome because of the nostalgia and the overall design. If you oversee the grind classic was peak wow imo. 
Hunter pets got little to good.
I don’t mind it I think it’s a case of preference and effort people want to put it in will decide which version of WoW is best for them. 
I’m happy with the difficulty. I haven’t killed more than one boss in 2 weeks. Okay, why lie, I haven’t killed a single mob in 2 weeks. For two weeks I couldn’t even log into the server. Please don’t make it more difficult.
They still suck at wow 
that’s the issue people with full t3 gear barely able to pull 500 dps
I wouldn’t bother, most SoD players are retails players. Era is picking back up again with most of my guildies back (bored of SoD). Era is always here now with less bots
that’s a huge cap right there classic era bots still going strong

SoD isn’t much better, way more bots, GDKP for level 25 content, rampant gold buying even by streamers, it’ll be worse by 60
im on lonewolf and i never see gdkp runs sure there might be runs in discord but that’s it
first of all, classic have never been a hard game and second, these seasons are for pure fun. Enjoy instead
yes it is, it always hve been easy and always will. Take of those rose tinted goggles. Maybe when we had 5 mbit broadband and 30 fps we struggled back in the days.

Yes, I also really like BFD’s difficulty. Most bosses have a dangerous mechanic or two and that’s about it. Even with a dog *** team (as in “multiple dps below tanks”, and “1 single decent healer”), you can do this.
I hate to break it to you man. But… Classic was always very very easy.
Classic was never hard, but the player base is significantly smarter than it was back then and has a better grasp of mechanics.
Also better computers and internet connections compared to 2004 means you aren’t lagging out on sub 5 fps.
Lastly, at this point a lot of people are getting geared, not just through BFD but a lot of the pre BiS stuff is becoming more available to casuals as it’s less in demand for raiders. When you outgear the content, it’s usually far easier.
The biggest difference between 25 now and 25 in vanilla, is you were never this well geared at level 25 in vanilla.
Let it be easy man. Many of us prefer the chill experience of leveling and fun banter during raids.
I don’t play this game to face difficulties, but to relax. If you enjoy difficulty there’s retail.
Somone mentioned retail raid is difficult? I always do retail and go few raids when new datadisc arrives and I am like almost AFK during raid and take it without wipe.
how many times did you wipe in bfd or gnomer? Just wait for Ahn’Qiraj, we went as a raid of 60-80 lvls in wotlk times and we managed to wipe xD.
