In the patch notes for 9.2.5, Blizzard claimed: "Removed the experience point reduction that is applied to level 51–60 characters while in Party Sync. "
The problem is, it still doesn’t bloody work! I synced with a level 10, they went into WoD Chromie time and the quests on my level 55 goblin rogue only gave him 1.4K XP. You need 255K to level up to level 56.
For reference, back in BFA, you’d get the same amount of XP from a barrens quest while synced as you did from a zuldazar quest.
I genuinely hope Blizzard fixes this issue, I leveled so, so many alts in BfA with it and I want to do so again, just not through Shadowlands.
Tested it with a friend. Mob xp is almost okay, as it gives as much xp as lvl 50 mobs give, but quest rewards are as you say. 1-1.5k at best
Quest and dungeon rewards are level 50(Ilvl58), Salvaged Cache of Goods rewards are also level 50. It really feels like it just isn’t implemented at all.
I also dislike if I try to change Chromie time zone once 48 it won’t let me if I’ve left another timeline. Had to get help to get back in by inviting a lower level.
